They were hired to put in a prefinished hardwood floor of which they did not acclimate the wood at all, they did not have a 3/8" expansion gap all around so it will most likely buckle this summer or next, it was put in wrong to boot.

They replaced a french door which they damaged the outside of it, they never finished the outside and installed it incorrectly.

They were supposed to install a hard wood staircase, "tried" to put in pine treads until I stopped them then charged us $400 more even though it states right on the contract (hardwood), then they were incapable of putting in the hardest part which is the 3 winder steps which I had to hire a real company to do which cost me $400 to put in the 3 steps. I then had to stain and apply 3 coats of polyurethane, I also had to install the side bullnose pieces as they were incapable of doing that also.

They were hired to paint 2 rooms and a hallway, I had to do most all of the repair of holes, scratches and also a corner that needed to be retaped and mudded because again they were literally incapable of doing the work.

They were supposed to replace 10 ceiling lights of which they tried to do 4, I had to stop them because again they were totally incapable of doing the work. I had to redo 3 of the 4 they attempted.

Then bought and finished the rest myself.



They were supposed to put in a threshold in the bathroom between the new hardwood floor and the tile which they were incapable of doing, left the wood uneven, had to be recut and a piece of oak put in place and I had to order a reducer to cut and put in place myself which I am still waiting for.

They scratched the top of a 75 year old piece of furniture BADLY plus added 2 water rings from a soft drink they left on it, this will cost us at least $150 to repair.

They scratched the front of my brand new stainless steel gas stove of which is not repairable unless I buy and replace the entire door for $450.



They left the house a total mess, with trash every where and paint all over the existing hardwood floors.

For this we were charged $7700.00 of which they did at least $600 worth of damage, did not finish the stairs which cost me $400, plus 3 days of labor and $175 worth of materials that I had to do to stain and poly.

I had to redo, repair, repaint a considerable amount of the shoddy work they managed to try to complete.

Redo and just plain do the lights and the switches, finish the threshold, going to have to have someone come out to repair the threshold of the french door that was installed incorrectly and left unfinished and unpainted.

I have already sealed the top of the door myself to make sure it doesn't leak and ruin the walls.



they owe me a flat minimum of $1500.00 for damage plus unfinished work that I had to pay for again and finish myself.

This company is incapable of doing the work they are being hired to do.
