Overall

Dr. Gore is a GREAT vet. My dogs and I had an awesome experience when we went for our routine visit. I was new to the area and had tried a couple other vets first but found what I was looking for at Spring Forest Animal Hospital. The staff was friendly & knowledgeable. I also took a tour of their boarding facility and was very impressed, I'll be boarding my dogs this spring. Thanks Dr. Gore!!

What a homey place to board y...

What a homey place to board your loved ones. No one likes to be away from their pets but if you have to this is the place to take them! From the receptionist to the Technicians, you can see how much they enjoy what they do. They have a groomer on site and they even have a hospital next door where Dr. Gore performs any and all types of services associated with pet care.

Pain Management
Our surgery suite is equipped to perform both routine and advanced surgical procedures in a sterile environment that is safe for your pet. Surgical procedures are performed routinely using sterile technique and patient-specific anesthesia. Each patient is evaluated by Dr. Gore prior to surgery and an individual anesthetic and pain management plan is chosen. Choices are made based on the species, breed, age and physical condition of the animal. The well-equipped surgery area is cleaned and disinfected between patients.

DHLPP/DHPPC- This stands for “Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Parvo, Corona”; vaccine guards against all of the canine viruses listed; vaccine is given annually

Feline Leukemia – Protects against the feline leukemia virus; this vaccine is given annually and is not required to board

Dental Surgery
Preventative dental care (including teeth brushing and teeth cleaning) is extremely important in animals. Approximately 72 % of an animal’s health problems are caused by bacteria build-up on their teeth. We provide complete dental care services for pets, including teeth cleaning, polishing, teeth extractions, x-rays, and oral surgery. We recommend regular examinations and annual dental cleanings under general anesthesia for all adult dogs and cats.
