Pines of Ashton Apartments

Left with no choices, me and my wife moved at Pines of Ashton because of the necessity to live close to WakeMed. We got the 2nd floor apartment for security reasons. You could hear and feel the floor vibrating whenever you walk across the floor. The glass window vibrates when our neighbor's noisy car's subwoofer is playing. I had to replace the door knob myself because my wife felt very unsafe just using a single lock when we go out. Only to find out that the door knob's screw access is turned outward (can be accessed from the outside... any handyman can just use a screw driver and get in your apartment). Lights outside the apartment seems to always have problems and are not lit at night. Air conditioning system functions weird and just keeps the common area warm and not the bedroom. The room's ceiling paint cracked in our room. The bath tub drain is slow. At one time water appeared rusty (06/11/2015). Should I continue? Dishwasher is crap. There always seem to be something needed to be fixed in the apartment below or beside yours (knocking, drilling, hammering, water needs to be shut down for the whole block... etc). My wife had contacted the office multiple times to have our complaints fixed but it seems minor patch up jobs are the only things possible. They say that the floors can't be fixed since it is an old apartment. Honestly, I'm fed up with this place. They say there are other units that are newly renovated. But make sure to check the things I listed above. The only reason why we're staying is that my wife is taking too long to learn how to drive. Only thing working for this place is that the front desk people are nice. You might say that I'm a complainer. But I'm not. My wife is. But when that maintenance guy cut the water while I was taking a bath, I said that they really crossed the line with me. People need to know.

My family and I moved here in September 2014, have had nothing but problems with roaches and within the past week people moved in below us and decide at 7:30AM to play their music loud. No respect for their neighbors. Too much bs goes on out here. Someone tried stealing plates off a vehicle. Newly renovated just means they used to much paint so doors stick and paint flakes off and new carpet and appliances but still got the dang roaches. Will be moving as soon as possible.

Its the worst apt complex ever I had a incident were my kitchen sink the pipes broke I had a water fount inside my kitchen it took 4 calls for someone to comeand turn shut off the main water volwe my kitchen was a lake Capet wet floor wet counters wet the only thing they did they had the carpet cleaning guy suck all the water with his pump and put some big blue dryer so my carpet can Air Dry....did not want to change anything these apt complex SUCK I'm just waiting 4 my lease to end and I'll be gone up out of here...it took them 15 min 4 someone to come and turn off the water.....DONT COME RENT HERE.....
