I was at the seafood counter waiting for help for almost 15 minutes at 5:15pm on a weekday. Prime shopping time, I would think. I stormed out of there. Most of the service counters (butcher, deli, etc) are usually a ghost town anyway, but this was the proverbial straw. I will try to never go back to this store, instead opting for the overpriced and dreaded 2 story Harris Teeter at North Hills. This is a shame, because the Krog is about 300 yards from my house. Sigh.
Large store with much non-food or standard supermarket merchandise
in addition to complete standard selection.
Has best supermarket flower store in Triangle, within the floral goods
carried, and this is due to knowledgeable personnel.
Radio Shack is attached to store, and Borders and Staples are adjacent.
US Post Office is connected to NW corner of store. Excellent dairy products
selection secondary to attentive workers, that are not present for whatever
reason at other local supermarkets (including some other Kroger stores).
Has large lunchtime crowd of salad bar and deli customers, but at
other times is not full, probably because the adjacent area is not high
density residential occupancy. Hence, save on Tuesday, shoppers
plan and come with lists throughout the week and at times convenient
to them. Since this is 24 hour operation which has customers present
every day and night, it also is a safe venue.
Hope this store is convenient for your needs, and review helpful.
