Most recently I took my sons 2007 F150 Lariat in to have the brakes replaced and to trouble shoot what appeared to be a slipping transmission problem. As it turns out, the problem was a mis-firing issue which they were able to correct, Thanks Bobby! I have taken a number of my vehicles to them over the years and have always had faith in the work they do. No one likes an auto repair bill, but I know I can trust what they tell me and I can trust their work. I highly recommend these expert mechanics.
I am the owner of Falls Village Auto repair. We do understand why the customer that posted todays review is upset. When she came in for a coolant leak, we performed a pressure test and found that her radiator was leaking out of the bottom left seam . There were no other leaks. We showed the customer where it was coming from and she gave us permission to replace the radiator. After it was fixed we pressure tested it again and test drove the vehicle. Everything was fine. No leaks. 5 days later she came back with coolant reservoir leak. This is separate from the radiator. It is an 11 year old plastic part that gave way. This was called by a weak spot it the reservoir. this is called the path of least resistance. If a pressurized system has a weak spot eventually it will leak. We told this customer that the radiator has a 2 year free replacement warranty but the reservoir was leaking now. That has nothing to do with the work we performed. It is unfortunate but was out of our control. If it was leaking when it left here. she would not have made it 5 day. The fact that it was leaking out of the reservoir tells us that it just happed. otherwise the reservoir would have been empty. We even knocked $42.50 off of the price of the labor on the reservoir. We have done everything that we can and understand that it is an unfortunate situation, but the facts are that it was not leaking when she left and didn't leak until five days later when it cracked. We will continue to stand behind our warranty on the radiator as we do with all work that we perform.
Falls Village exxon does except the yellow page coupon, and were more than helpful with my car. These guys are quick, trustworthy, and great all around. I would highly recomend these guys to anyone who is looking to get their car fixed right the first time for an affordable price!
After calling and confirming they accept the yp app mobile coupon, I drive to the shop. When I get there, Bobby tells me he doesn't know what yp is and that he will not honor the coupon. I ask if he advertises with yellowpages he says yes. I show him my phone, the reviews, the whole yp app with the advertised deal and he says that's not him, not his advertisement and he doesn't offer oil changes at this price.
Yellow Pages posted this coupon before they were suppose to. Bobby told this customer the situation and also told the customer that he would go ahead and honor this coupon anyways. This customer refused and left. So yes we are currently honoring this coupon. We appoligize for any misunderstanding and look foward to serving you and makeing our community run more smoothly.
Bobby and Craig are the REAL DEAL. you can trust them to not only tell you what is wrong with your vehicle, but also, if you don't have the money, they are quick to tell you what you NEED to do, then what you SHOULD do, and then what you OUGHT to do. They are as honest as the day is long. if you are looking for a local mechanic, one you hope to use forever, and live or work in the North Raleigh area, these are your guys.

I have visited this shop with questions about both my motorcycle and my car. The last time I visited, I left after an oil change and tire rotation. I had an issue with my car about 10 miles down the road and these guys got right into their own car and drove to look at it where I'd stopped on the side of the road. It turned out that I had gotten the accelorator stuck under the floor mat because of my own stupidity, but the mechanics just fixed it and put me back on the road with a reassuring pat on the back. They would not even take any money for driving to come and look at it. Stellar guys that are honest and trustworthly. Would highly recommend them to everyone! I can't say enough great things about them.

These guys are a complete rip off!!!
My wife had *very* simple problem that needed repair. Well, they gave her an estimate of over $700 (not lying)!! Normally, an unsuspecting woman would say, ""well ok, I need it done"". I went in later and checked the estimate and about had a bird. Anyway, knowing a little bit about cars, I spoke to and questioned them why the estimate included things that did not need repairing? They vehemently tried to talk me into it.. but they knew I was pi--ed about the estimate. I told them to ""can it"" and left. I went back later - I fixed the problem in the parking lot and drove off.
I then took it to the Exxon on Strickland Rd, and had them look at it. 10 minutes later she was back on the road with NO CHARGE!!
DON'T GO HERE, NOR SEND YOUR UNSUSPECTING SPOUSES HERE!!! These guys give car care mechanics a bad name.
