This place is disgusting. The owner is a two faced idiot. He is extremely arrogant, has no morals or values. Don only truly cares about ripping off his clients. His services are indeed basic and not impressive. He has stylist on his website that don't even work for him. Like I mentioned he is arrogant, pressumes of what he has not. He trash talks about his employees and clients as well. Don't waste your time and money at this salon. Its sincerely NOT worth it.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Where do I start????I picked this salon because I saw so many good reviews but now I now I'm really confused. So first off, my appointment was set for Thursday and I wanted 45 min for my stylist before I got up and told them to just cancel my appointment because I was tired of waiting. The owner came up and apologized and offer to take care of me on Saturday on his day off. This was very nice even though it was an inconvenience for me to have to come back and switch my day around. So I came back and the appointment was ok but the owner (my stylist) kept bragging about how good he is and how many famous peoples hair he has done. Once done, I was really not impressed with the hair and here is what did me in. When I called to schedule my first appointment, I asked about the price and the receptionist had told me that with full foils and hair cut would be $145 with my new client discount. She even had me talk to the owner and confirm that highlight and lowlights would be included in this price. Well when I went up to go pay, the receptionist (a different one) rang me up at $316!!!! WTF?!?! The receptionist said it was because the owner charges extra for his services BUT the only reason I was even booked with him was because my first appointment was super LATE and he offered to make it up to me! Also, he put extra colors in my hair without even consulting the difference in price with me, he didnt even ask if I wanted the extra colors, I just assumed it was just part of the service because it was my first time there and every salon is different. Well anyway, the owner came to talk to me and all of sudden he was rude and actually argued with me and told me that they never give out prices and that no salon anywhere would charge such a low price and told me I must be going to pony shops?!?!?!? INCREDIBLY RUDE!!! I used to go to Charles Penzon in Columbus which was the very high class salon and I never paid over 200 with tip and sometimes even buying shampoos/conditioner! Right after that, I heard him walk to the salon area and trash talk me while I was still there. UNBELIEVABLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! If your receptionist
tells me an inaccurate price, its not my fault she was not trained properly. Don't argue with me! I would have never even put my foot in that door had I known I would be asked to pay more than double the price that the receptionist told me! Seriously unreal.
I've been going to this salon for years years and its almost like family. I'm always greeted at the door with a smile and hello and offered a refreshment. All of the stylists are very friendly and take the time to talk about your hair and what you`d like done. I never feel pressured to buy any of the products and my stylist knows I'm on a budget and tells me which products in stores are ok for my hair and which ones to avoid. Scheduling is never an issue, I can come in after work during the week or on a Saturday. And if my regular stylist isn't available I know that I'm in safe hands with ANY stylist there. If you're not already going I suggest you check it out. The quality, services, and prices can't be beat!

I have now lived in Raleigh for almost a year and a half and have not had one positive experience until I tried out this salon! I had read the reviews for this salon and after seeing that almost every single one of them was a great review I decided to give them a try. I came into the salon with a terrible color as a result from a bad experience at another salon, and I had little hope that such a terrible color could even be corrected. Marissa did my color and I couldn't have asked for a better end result. She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and made sure we were on the same page with what end result I wanted. She took her time and didn't rush through and it definitely shows. Color came out great and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely be going back and will be telling everybody in need of a salon and colorist to give this place a try! Thanks dsparada!

Just got my hair done at Dsparada last weekend and I LOVE it!
First of all, my stylist was Vicki Holt. She was a true sweetheart and an incredible hair-dresser. I am not the type who visits salons often or pampers myself, but this was a great experience. Vicki was very patient, sweet and helpful. She assisted me in picking a wonderful color and style, even though I took my time and changed my mind over and over. She was amazing! She pampered me and took her time....I never felt rushed.
I had several treatments done, including removing all of the horrible color and dye that I had in my hair, a new color and highlights, an amazing keratin treatment blowout, and a little trim.
The color is phenomenal. You would not have believed I had bad hair color before I walked in that place. The keratin treatment was amazing as well. I have lots of natural curl and the keratin treatment smoothed it out so much. It's easier to straighten now, and the curls and looser and wavier. I love it! I have had so many compliments at work I lost count.
This is where to go if you are looking for stylists who are very professional, highly skilled, and trendy, but still sweet and down to earth.

I've been living in Raleigh for 3 years and have had the hardest time trying to find the right blend of color & cut in a stylist. I had almost given up until I did some research and found Lane at DSParada! He took the time to listen to my concerns, gave me so many options and I could tell he truly has a passion for what he does! My color looked amazing and while I am trying to let my hair grow out, he gave me a sassy new updated look. Thanks Lane. The atmosphere at DSParada was warm & inviting the other staff were so friendly. Run, don't walk to DSParada if you need a new stylist!!

So I'm a city girl and I have lived in the Tri area since 2001 and let me tell you trying to find a hair stylist and artist because there is a difference, has been a pain staking event BUT NOT ANYMORE! I Googled expert hair color and my zip code and by gosh did I land it!!! I found a truly talented hair designer, Lane.
Lane took me to his chair and we talked about a look Ive been trying to get at but I described it and here we go, I put all my trust in Lane.
Well let me tell you in the end I am ecstatic over my hair style. I 44 yrs old and Im sure Lane didn't believe me because I am very young in spirit...and now look even younger.
Talk about an expert hair cut..exactly what I wanted edge yet sophisticated with all over color that says Im the coolest Mima in town! Easy to wear and style in the morning before work and yet I look and feel like I'm headed to a runway show.
Thank you Lane!!! Honey if I could put my picture on this site would!! 5 stars baby, see you in 6 weeks and happily ever after! Lane can be found at Mina's in Chapel Hill he's no longer with DS PARADA.

Are you tired of bad cuts, bad color and just an overall bad hairdresser experience?! Well...look no further! DS Parada is true perfection. I've been getting my hair done there for a year and never had a bad hair cut or color job--and that really goes for any of the stylists. Never have I had as many compliments on my hair as when I started going to DS for my cuts! Definitely a ""run, don't walk!"" place to be!

Stylist LANE CLEMENTS rocks! I drive 45 minutes to DS Parada for my hair syling, color, and blowouts at least 3 times a month. Your hair is the first thing people notice about you so why not invest in it and be your best? My hair color has never looked better and even more impressive is that during that awkward ""grow out"" stage (which I hadn't done in years), he made it look good at every stage. I never thought I could pull off longer hair but I love the cut and color. If you are looking for a color expert or have a special occasion, this is the place to go!

I moved from New York to NC four years ago. I could not find a hairdresser to cut and highlight my hair to save my life! That is until I found Lane at dsparada. He did a great job. The cut was perfect as well as the color. It was like I was in NY again. Anyone who has been searching for someone who really knows how to do hair, run to dsparada.

I have been coloring/highighting my hair for almost 20 years, and I have been to many of the salons in Raleigh. I must admit I have cheated on many stylists because of a recommendation, price or unhappy with my color or cut. When my two year old said, ""Mommy, you have pretty striped hair,"" I knew it was time to move on. I went to DS Parada, and I cannot tell you how much of a difference there is in my color. It's amazing. It's so natural, I love the color, it's worth every penny. DS Parada is in North Raleigh off Falls of Neuse, I definitely recommend any of their stylists, they are all trained to do color in a way that you won't find anywhere else. Go check them out, you'll be glad you did!

Was referred to DS Parada by a close friend. Loved the staff everyone was very friendly. My stylist gave me a great consultation so I understood what color I was getting how it would benefit my hair. The result was absolutely fabolous, I will definitely be back in the future. Thanks DS Parada!!!
This place is like a hair heaven. Everyone that walks out looks absolutely gorgeous! They really know what they are talking about when it comes to haircolor and the cut was amazing. They seem to take it seriously, and genuinely want their clients to be happy. Unlike so many other salons I have been to. This place is definately a keeper.
The hair that dsparada produces is far more supieror than anywhere else I have gone in this town. They are very introspective and know a great deal about hair. What impressed me the most is that I actually learned a lot, they took the time out to talk to me about styling and how I could make my hair look great on a daily basis, which I thought was impossible because the only time my hair looks that good is after I leave the salon. I took their advice and what a difference. My cut lays perfectly and is very effortless when styling.
This a great find!
OMG! Can I just tell you how much I love my hair! I was actually just doing a random search online looking for a salon and I found them. I went in and they were so nice and my hair has NEVER looked better! She used a great color combo on me and I seriously look 10 years younger, which if you are in your 40's is a dream come true! I wish dsparada had come into my life sooner! Thank you thank you thank you!
