their neglect, malpractice, unethical behavior etc. killed my guinea pig. not enough space here to write a detailed review, but check their yelp reviews for more info. there are many people claiming a+e killed their pets. i would absolutely under no circumstances recommend this business.

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE!!!We spent a small fortune to have our pet undergo surgery.Doctor Dan Johnson prescribed a powerfull injection antibiotic to treat our pet so he would not develop any infection and it KILLED our animal!Probably because he was underweight.I went to doctor Johnson because I trusted his "expertise" and now our pet is DEAD.Reader beware -----Just because all these places recommend this hospital DOESN'T mean they are so great. Please don't risk getting a broken heart as we have.

We run a companion bird rescue and take our own birds and the birds we rescue to Avian and Exotic Animal Care. All the vets there are wonderful. Everyone including the techs are so gentle and caring with the birds as well as being thorough and knowledgeable. We've had many times where we called with a sick bird or a bird we just took in that didn't look well and they got us in the same day. Awesome service!

When we need specialized servi...

When we need specialized services for a rare animal, Dr. Dan Johnson is who we look to. Avian and Exotic Animal Care has been a reliable source of excellent animal care for the residents of our wildlife facility for several years. They have assisted us in both scheduled and emergency procedures, providing outstanding veterinary care with the newest technology to help speed healing time. Dr. Johnson and Dr. Leonatti have been wonderful in following up to be sure the animals they provided care for continued to improve after they left the hospital. We plan to work with them for many years to come.

Great Staff!

I drive from Fayetteville to take my ferrets for check ups and all their needs. I and my ferrets are very happy with their services. They know us by name!! Very professional staff who have passion for what they do.

great vetenarian

If you have an exotic pet that is sick or hurt, take them to Avian and Exotic Animal Care. They are the most caring people to your animals. I had a very sick monkey and Dr. Dan Johnson worked on him for a couple of hours until he felt that my monkey was able to go home. I took him home and hours later he was sick again. I called and Dr. Johnson told me to bring him back. He was very concerned about my monkey and wanted to make sure that he had the best care, so he took my monkey home with him. After my monkey was back home with me, Dr. Johnson called me over the next several nights to find out how he was doing. How great is that?? Thanks Dr. Johnson and staff for caring!!!
