Atlantic Tire & Service

AAA had put the spare on, and I went over to Atlantic Tire to see if they could fix my tire. I have been their customer since 2013, for tires and tire service. I knew it was time for new tires all around, but just starting a new sales (commission only) job, no income yet, it was out of the question. Joey showed me the damaged tire, torn in the wall, and slick. No hope for it. He found a correct-size tire and they put it on for $90. We discussed the fact my other 3 will never pass inspection which was due before 11/30/16. I asked for a quote on new tires, so I would know what to expect when I got the money. Joey suggested I may want to consider a less expensive tire that he thought I would get more miles on, AND I might find more comfortable. I agreed. Without another word, he prepared TWO estimates: one for current brand at $1160. and an estimate for Continental at $940. I have 4WD. He made sure to include all line items such as old tire disposal, including tax, understanding my circumstance.

I started making shorter trips and making more phone calls, trying to keep in touch with prospects although face-to-face gets better outcome. Two weeks later, an item that I had had listed on E-Bay, for two years, was bought by someone who did't even try to get it for less, and she even paid the shipping cost! A prayer answered, for truly I had no control of that. Knowing I would have enough to pay for those new tires in a few days, I called Joey, he ordered the Continental brand, and the tires were installed on 11/8/2016.

But it doesn't end there. I saw a promotional ad for Continental that they would give you a $70 gift card for buying a set of 4 during the month of November. I got that!

After receiving a coupon in the mail for an oil change I decided to check out Atlantic Tire & Service off Glenwood Ave. Their waiting room was very nice (enclosed off the side, large plasma tv, and coffee) not like most auto repair places. They were done in a reasonable amount of time and not only had changed my oil but checked out my belts, topped off my fluids, and filled my tires with nitrogen (I was very excited about this b/c I had seen ads for other places charging about $20 for the service)! They told me that my tires were starting to get worn (nothing I needed to have done immediately but should probably start to think about) and gave me several quotes for me to consider all which included free lifetime rotation and balance. I was definitely impressed with the high service quality and attention given to my car and will definitely be coming back for tires!
