Apex Appliance is a terrible company!!!! Look on Yelp and you will see I am not alone. Very unprofessional and horrendous customer service. I have just filed an official complaint with the BBB. I bought a dryer from them on 11/23/12. It never worked perfectly, but when it got a lot worse I called for maintenance, well within the 1 year warranty. They missed 3 service appointments, and I had to call multiple times to schedule each appointment. The woman at the front desk is the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever spoken to. When they finally showed up they requested a $50 service fee, which I agreed to pay as long as they could guarantee that if the fix didn't work, they wouldn't recharge me the $50. They agreed, but when it came time to pay they did not provide any sort of written service request with a price or guarantee of the work. Also, what they "fixed" was one of the first things I checked before calling to request service. So they wanted me to pay$50 for not fixing anything, which is why I wanted a guarantee of their work. When I called the front desk to ask for some sort of official paperwork, she denied my request (with much rude yelling), and then said she was going to "void" my warranty, which doesn't seem possible since it doesn't say anything about the company having the right to void in the warranty. This company is awful and should not be BBB approved. I have never experienced such terrible customer service. Never buy from them.
