Ordered 2 Boston Cream donuts. They are raw inside. Disgusting!
I stopped by crispy doughnuts one morning on my way to work, celebrating birthdays at work I thought it would be excellent idea to bring doughnuts to celebrate. Employee name Robert was the only person working the counter, I showed him a card I had purchased through a co-worker, where I can buy one dozen and the 2nd one is free. Well Robert apparently did not know how to read, it clearly said buy one dozen and get the second one free, I read it to him and he read it back to me and he would say no it does not say that. I was very upset; not because I was not getting my free box but the fact that he kept calling me a liar in front of everyone, like I did not how to read, IDIOT. I ask for the manager and he said "I am it" I asked for the manager's telephone number and went outside. I waited a few minutes called the number, a lady answer I ask her if she was familiar with the card I had, she said yes, I ask her what it said she clearly told me “buy one get one free”, I told her they need to hire people that can read and give better service, she ask me to come back in and she would help me. People like Robert does not need to be working there, or need to be trained again. I love the doughnuts but just thinking about running into that men such an, IDIOT, I have not been able to go back. THE WORSE SERVICE I EVER HAD. I was not begging for anything free, and this was not coming out of Robert’s pocket, I paid for the card, he was acting like it was costing him.
On my first trip to duck donuts I had a horrible encounter with a very rude employee. I had walked in and started to take the place in and figure out how it all works. I was there for 2 mins before anyone spoke to me and when they did they told me they were closed. I was surprised because the OPEN sign was on and lit up bright and the door was open. When I mentioned that to the employee who was speaking to me, another employee rudely shouted at me. Apparently this commotion got the attention of the manager who came out and tried her best to smooth it all over. But given the fact that hard words had been spoken, I did not trust that employee to make my food. I asked for and was given the contact info for the owners. I sent them an email concerning what happened. Apparently they really don't care too much about it. I did not receive anything, not ever a general reply. So it is fair to say that my first attempt at Duck Donuts to see what other kind of donuts are available other than my krispy kreme was a miserable failure; therefore it will be my last. So I think this will conclude my attempts to find a different place other than my good ole krispy kreme
We just walked in this place because it was new and we were hungry. These doughnuts were amazing. They were so fresh. And simple. We also had an apple fritter that was to die for. The prices were great and the staff was very friendly. I will never go to a another doughnut place.
I had a coffee and a donut. the donuts are deliciout. While I was there I showed the employees a video on how to clean the hopperw using the tsunami method. There seemed to be an interest. This video can be vewed at weldondesighsystems.nt. I do lide houtr donus.
