I have used Airmakers for since 2001. They have always have given me good service in the past. I had an issue recently, but they resolved it to my satisfaction. Regards.

My big emergency turned into a small one. I turned on my AC unit for the first time and nothing. Airmakers came out on a Saturday and got things worked out. They could have sold me on a new system but instead changed out a small part and done. Very reasonable and surprisingly honest.
Happy. I had a new AC unit installed and was happy with the service. They did what they said they would do and it was a speedy install. No complaints here.
Exorbitant material charges for weekend dispatch!!! I recently contacted Airmakers on a Saturday morning. I was told that they would charge a $148 dispatch fee which was substaintially higher than their normal rate since it was a weekend. Knowing this upfront I was ok with that and they came out that day to repair my unit. The tech was nice and began performing the work. He stated that I was low on R-22 refrigerant and then told me how much the refrigerant cost. I questioned the high price and I was told that since it was a Saturday they charge more for parts! What since does that make? I was already paying a higher dispatch fee, but to charge more money for parts? This is the exact same refrigerant they sell Monday-Friday. I was charged $400 for the 2.5 pounds of R-22 ($550 Total). I contacted another company to see what they charge and it was a total of $340 (including weekend dispatch). I contacted the service manager about this and he politely suggested I use the other company next time. I will be sure to do that but I wanted to let others know of the hidden charges before they make the same mistake I did.
They are unprofessional. When I tried to call them about my dryer, which was broken and under warranty, they never answered their phones or returned my messages. They continue to act in an unprofessional manner and they will never receive my business again.
