Good Experience this Year!!!Great TEACHER!!!I feel the experience that I had at Wilburn started out rough but at this point I am satisfied. This perspective is taken from my evaluation of Teacher Experience and the way a teacher is teaching my child. The first year my daughter was in kindergarten and I felt like the way my daughter was taught during the first year was very harsh and she had to be able to catch on quick in kindergarten to a systematic of test and evaluations and at that age 5 she was not use to that method of teaching, it was very hard to throw a child from daycare into that type of teaching environment was very hard for her and frustrating as a parent to see your child not happy about school at least not there very first year when it suppose to be exciting and wonderful, I felt as though the teacher did not understand at take time and develop a student opposed to just trying to test or evaluate them, Now that my daughter is now in the first grade with Ms Lingenheld, I feel her teaching methods are more understandable to the children and updated, they are having fun learning as they develop their skills of being responsible for their work, i feel that i gave Wilburn a second chance because of The Principal Ms Dove who is very relatable Principal who you can talk to when you need to and she encouraged me to give it another chance with Ms Lingenheld and I am glad i did, because my daughter loves going to school every day and looks forward to it...Ms LIngenheld definitely knows how to inspire while promoting and introducing education to your child. Although I feel parents will always be the biggest advocate and first Teacher for their child, having a great teacher like Ms. Lingenheld definitely helps your child want to learn and have a great learning experience.

My son started his Freshman year of HS at Longleaf School of the Arts, this year, and I can't tell you how incredible this experience has been for him. From the teachers, to the students, to the administration - Longleaf has exceeded our very high expectations!! The calibre of teaching we've found here compares with what is available at excellent colleges. The teachers are incredibly qualified, passionate, and take the time and energy to invest in the students. We had come from another charter school, and like them, but Longleaf has outperformed the old school in every way. My son is not a perfect student... he's very bright, but is also very ADHD, and we've had wonderful support from the teachers and administration, in developing systems to help him get organized with his work. All of his teachers have rallied around him, and been extremely willing to go the extra mile in communicating with me, as well as communicating with him.For the first time, I'm watching him truly thrive in school. He's stimulated, rather than bored, has made wonderful friends, and is enthusiastic about his future.I can't recommend this school highly enough!!
We thought this would be a tough transition for our 2 year old. He was previously attending preschool 3 half-days a week and started attending Primrose full-time 5 days a week in January. They welcomed him with open arms and made the adjustment period a breeze for him. Ms. Chanta and Ms. Julie are absolutely amazing teachers. I went to pick him up a few weeks into starting at Primrose and Ms. Chanta said "he's ready for big boy underwear." We had tried potty training at home without success so I had my doubts that this was going to work. 2 weeks since that conversation with Ms. Chanta and we are still in big boy underwear and he has only had 1 accident!!! I definitely owe it all to them for potty-training my boy. I couldn't have done it without them!! He loves his teachers and comes home and talks about Ms. Julie and Ms. Chanta everyday. I cannot imagine a better preschool for my son.
The negative comment previously mentioned appears to be a smear ad by a competitor to smear the good name and reputation of First Step Services. It is somewhat telling and unusual that this posting is entitled with a name of a fellow practitioner. You can visit www.firststepnc.com and read people’s experiences that are client-submitted feedback about the services at First Step. This company is fully transparent in the staff providing services and the description of the services offered.First Step is a member of the Raleigh Better Business and Chamber of Commerce. The company is a NC state (NC DWI and DHHS) and nationally credentialed (CARF) facility. The primary purpose is to provide evidenced-based practices with a client-centered approach. It is unfortunate that people are not required to post their name with their comments.Tony Porrett
Hands Down, Primrose School of North Raleigh is the best daycare in Raleigh! My son started in the young infant class when he was only six months old. Needless to say, it was hard for me to leave my baby with anyone, but the teachers and staff at Primrose made it much easier. Ms. Yelena and Ms. Mirian in the young infants class cared for and loved him. It was much easier to leave him seeing this. In the Older infants class, Ms. Megan and Ms. Irina have read to him and played with him and engaged him in many activities. All of the teachers and staff are very patient, caring and loving. I am very pleased with my choice of daycares for my son.
Both of our children have been at PSNR since they turned one year old ( 4 years old and 1.5 years old now). My children love everyone at PSNR. They look forward to seeing their friends and teachers every day. The teachers and staff know our whole family and greet us with open arms as we arrive and wish us a fond farewell as we depart. As a working mother, who travels often, I am comforted by the fact that my children are happy, healthy and thriving, even when I am away from home. Thank you PSNR for loving our children while they are in your care.
This is a new Christian school in Raleigh. They focus on smaller classes and developing the whole child. Whether your child is inside of the box or outside of the box, your child will be thoroughly accepted and loved here. They also cater to the needs of special needs and gifted children. My 4th grader has finally found a school where she actually is happy to go. Good job Celebration!!!!!!!
It is fun in Fuller Elementary school.
