I have been going to beauty supply store for over three years and have spent hundreds if not over a thousand dollars with them over time. I recently got my hair license and went into the store purchase a few last minute products. The first time she took my license and entered it in the system and applied the discount (note: I did not purchase braiding hair), the second time she applied the discount reluctantly, asked for my license again and proceeded to tell me certain items were covered, OK. However, two days ago I went to restock the same items and she refused to honor the natural hair discount. Granted the discount is small, but as a loyal customer I was very disappointing to be treated in such a manner and the hassle each time I make a purchase. I have found a new location, whose products are priced better and they honor the stylist discount on the total purchase. I will not be visiting K-Beauty anymore and I have advised my friends and family as well. Very disappointing!!!!

I recently relocated from New York City and found Oak City Salon via Yelp and was impressed with their wonderful reviews. The salon was so close to work and very easy to access with ample parking. I saw Chuck for my cut and balayage and he was AMAZING!!! He does not double book and spent the whole appointment time conversing with me and letting me know all that Raleigh has to offer. I then made an appointment with Kim for a lash extension fill in and they were simply beautiful! She also spent an overwhelming amount of time with me although I had worn Novalash Lashes for the last three years, I decided to go with a slightly thicker lash than I was wearing and I am OBSESSED!!! Super professional and accommodating. Highly recommend!
Lisa Dean has been cutting my hair for over 35 years. I followed her from a salon in Crabtree, to one off Glenwood Avenue, and finally to her place when she opened her own business,"Headquarters". My daughter discovered Lisa in her Crabtree salon and encouraged me to try her. I have a difficult head of hair to cut due to a cowlick in back along my neck. She handles that beautifully. Over the years, many of my friends have commented on my haircut, how good it looks on me, how well cut it is. I have changed my hair style slightly, with Lisa handling each request for change without a blink of an eye. I would recommend her for anyone--female or male. I would encourage my husband go, except I have cut his hair myself for almost 50 years. When I can no longer cut it, he will go to her! She deserves more than 5 stars!
Never ever open on time!sunday hours on door says open at 12:00... it is now 12:40, people are outside waiting and no ine is here. Evey day people are waiting

I am sincerely thankful for you ladies, helping us through what could have been an unpleasant, disheartening, stressful day into a completely easy, relaxed, and quick experience! ************WARNING YOU************ BEFORE YOU THINK THAT BECAUSE IS A PAUL MICHELLE SALON YOU GOING TO BE TREATED RIGHT, THIS WAS THE WORST SALON EXPERIENCE EVER, of my life entire life , by far! I got to the salon at 9:30 AM for color and haircut and END up leaving the salon at 8 PM, after been threatened by receptionist on calling the police on me because I refused to pay the $200+ they wanted me to pay for FRYING MY HAIR. Very unprofessional....TOTALLY CARE LESS...This nightmare experience took 10 hours ! The place is totally unprofessional. The teachers have no idea of what they are doing. And of course Now I have to go pay someone else to correct the damages done to me hair. And is not going to be cheap . This is the same thing that happened to someone else in here, who wrote a review and I ignored , so I am warning you ....AVOID THIS PLACE NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL.

Very disappointing .. Doesn't give you a real blowout .. Under staffed ... Wasn't notified about the credit card machine being down .. Manager told me to go next dollar to get cash back .. Staff was friendly but the salon is not professional
