is is the very worst company I have ever worked with in my life. I received an email from Tina who works at the agency saying that she needed to speak to me urgently. I expressed to her that it was a very bad time as my grandfather had just died in the hurricane and my cousin was still missing. She emailed me back and said it would not be bad news we needed to speak so I reluctantly gave her a call. In that conversation she informed me that my drivers license was not renewed on time so my insurance was going to drop me if I did not renew within the next 24 hours. I was dealing with so much at the time And because she stated the call was not of a negative nature I was blindsided by more horrible news. I was able to get my license renewed the same day but her prefacing the call would have been greatly appreciated. My family was recently in a total loss car accident where the car rolled twice with both my 10 month old and four-year-old in the car. My son was in the ICU for 2 days with possible internal bleeding and spinal Injuries. The road to recovery for my family is going to be long both my husband and son have to go through outpatient physical therapy. My husband is going to be out of work for a wild sly called the agency to attempt to lower our insurance premiums now that we only have one vehicle. I received a call from Tina stating that my policy insurance would be $1300 for 1 vehicle when I was only paying 2000 for 2 vehicles full coverage and the vehicle that was told old was the more expensive vehicle ( Mercedes versus Nissan). I was trying to ask her why but she would not let me finish my question she just continued to speak over me to which I replied Tina you are not very personable I am trying to understand the policy. She immediately snapped and said you have threatened my agency you have threatened me and I will no longer do business with you find another company and disconnected the call. I called this office to make an inquiry about my 401K. After they hung up on me, I called back and asked to speak to a manager. They transferred me to the Director. She spoke very rudely to me and hung up after I expressed concerns over fees they were charging me for their 403B. Have never been treated so rudely. The director sounded like a psycho.

UPDATE: I emailed the executives at the company with details of why I was appealing the decision. Just under a week later, the adjuster called me back to say they would be paying the claim. Our car is now fixed.This company is really awful to work with. They are a group of insurance related companies and they have bad reviews all over the internet. We have direct experience of them denying a claim for a case where a driver pulled out of a parking lot and cut across a lane of traffic hitting our car in the process. They classified the parking lot entrance as an intersection. Even the police on site said it was the fault of the driver pulling out of the parking lot. They don't return phone calls, they don't pay out claims. Stay away from doing business with this company. Let me start by saying I've only wrote 2 other reviews in my life. These guys deserve to be the third. John, Heather, and Chris have given me the best customer service I have ever experienced. They tended to all my needs several times over the years. They have been prompt, caring and empathetic with me and my family. They give first class service.
The agent Lauri Fair and her girls Frankie & Heather are the best ever!! They look for ways to save me money on my policies as we are always changing something but they don't seem to mind the changes. They tell me what discounts I qualify for and completely review my policy so that I know that I have the right coverages. I trust them and I feel like they are looking out for me. I absolutely love this agency!
No contact information link on their IES website, just a phone number to call, no email, and by the way, they normally close at 4pm weekdays... ridiculous! Called Weds, was going to take my state pearson vue exam the following Thursday... more than a week away and was thinking of having them overnight my admissions ticket... was told it would be there Saturday, Monday latest... Yup, still don't have it! And of course, when I call the first thing out of their mouth, isn't an apology, but an "I told you so..." from their manager saying the rep said not to schedule the test until I get the tickets in hand... very defensive without any resolution, then we'll send them again via snail mail 1st class on Weds, since they're office is closed at 4pm... No options to send via priority mail at my expense, add tracking at my expense (wow- couple bucks here!) and didn't yell or cuss at manager at all, but was talked over numerous times, interrupted, no apology, no responsibility ... Crap!
