Do not spend your money at this location as they are liars and thieves. First of all, this company is not a Valvoline Instant Oil Change but rather it is a locally owned company that is authorized to sell Valvoline products. Their logo of Valvoline Express Care is extremely misleading and only means that they carry Valvoline products. Also, Valvoline will not fulfill any warranty of their products provided by this location. Now on to my experience.
I visited this location today with my brother's vehicle as I was thinking it was a Valvoline Instant Oil Change since I use Valvoline all the time with great service. However, this time was not the same. I pulled into their location as the only vehicle and I was greeted by the manager Candis. She took my information as normal and started to provide my full-service oil change. The whole purpose of a full-service oil change is that the company is supposed to inspect all of the items they list on their invoices and note any deficiencies they come across. They are then supposed to inform/show the customer the identified deficiencies/items and let the customer decide if they would like to purchase a replacement item and have the technician install it. In the beginning, my service was fine, Candis checked my headlights, blinkers, and wind shield wipers. She then went down stairs to change my oil in which another technician became present, Frank. Candis informed Frank to begin checking me out as she changed my oil from underneath the car. Once she informed him that the old oil had been replaced, he then began to refill the engine with the new oil. Once filled, he checked the oil then began to shut the hood. I called out to him asking him if he was going to check the air filter, in which he responded stating that he did already checked it and pointed to where it was located under the hood and that it was clean and good to go. I had been watching both technicians and knew that neither one of them had checked my engine air filter, but I thought surely, Frank was not lying to my face. Afterwards, he closed my hood and took my card and checked me out. On my way home, I felt extremely uneasy about my experience, in which I decided to check my air filter. It was horrible as the attached pictures show. I also decide to go through the items they supposedly checked during the full service and realized that my cabin air filter was never checked either, I have attached a picture of it for you as well. I checked my battery, which showed signs of corrosions and my tire pressure read 28 psi instead of 32 psi (which Frank also lied about checking, but it was blamed on the calibration of their equipment). This company or at least these two individuals are extremely lazy and did not take care of their customer. I went back to the company to inform them of my findings and Candis stated that Frank may have seen the reverse side of my air filter and thought it was clean. Frank then chimed in and said no that he apologizes for lying to my face as he did not check the air filter at all. From the get go, Candis was already trying to cover up the issue and make it seem as if they did nothing wrong. Ultimately, I then had to go to advance auto and purchase both a new cabin and engine air filter as I refuse to give them anymore of my money. They should have given me a refund for not providing the full service as had been agreed upon and they failed to inform me of any deficiencies as they themselves had not even checked the items they were paid to check. If you do choose to go to this location, make sure you pay attention because otherwise you will pay in the long run when your car goes to crap from poor maintenance.

I made an account just so I can share with you how awful of a place this is. My first experience consisted of them neglecting to reconnect an air hose under the hood, leaving me putt-putting away on the road. Simple fix. However, giving them a second chance months later, I found a bone dry oil tank the day after a change. They stripped the oil pan and plug, put in an oversized plug, and claimed that the people who previously changed my oil (obviously them!!) had stripped it. And why didn't they catch that before changing it? The repairs from this incident cost me $300+.

They also tried to tell my sister that she needed new windshield wipers once.....she changed them the day before.

Will take advantage of women who may be seemingly inexperienced with vehicle maintenance.

Avoid this place like the plague!
