Highly recommend Schmitt, especially Steve for brass repairs. The work is good and prices are great. We've taken many instruments to Steve and are very happy!

With our son starting band this year, it also starts the 2nd generation of this family to be served by Schmitt Music. We wouldn't think of doing business anywhere else. Since my first instrument(s) (french horn & clarinet) in the 5th grade almost 30 yrs ago, & now to my oldest son who has just started 5th grade & band, Scmitt Music is more than just a place you can count on to keep your music going, they treat you with knowledge, respect, and there's never any 'dumb' questions. They'll always do their best to do repairs quickly esp for a student with a love of music.
Scmitt has always been there when we needed & we look forward to the future when we bring in our own children.

did damage to instrument. Brought instrument in (violin) to have tuned and to reset bridge. Well the lady was swearing whike working on my violin. The man took over and took it to a back room andcame out a few minutes later and hurriedly placed it back int its case and rushed out the room. When i got home i took it out of the case and discovered , the bridge was leaning towards fingerboard, the nut was gouged on one side (big Chip) and there are chips around the peg holes inside the scroll and whatever he used to help with the pegs was oozing out of the peg box. They will never repair or touch any of my instrumets again. I also think if hy tell people that they deal in violins or stringed instruments that they should have som on display not just guitars and drums. This used to be the place to go but for me no more. If they had a problem I should have been told. This was a brand new instrument by the way.
