ALIVE provides training and support solutions for adults with developmental disabilities and special needs. It enables participants to hold paying jobs, become involved in community activities, use community resources, increase independent living skills and develop self-advocacy. ALIVE is one of the services provided by Plumas Rural Services, which is a community-based, private, nonprofit corporation that was founded in 1980. The organization serves people in Lassen, Modoc, Plumas and Sierra counties in California. It provides Spanish speaking interpreters.
