Let’s just say I’ve been going to this salon since the 6th grade (going on 11 years old) & I’m now turning 22. You do the math. The only time you’ll see me going to a different salon would be on a Sunday since this salon is closed on Sundays. Yes, they do a great job at styling but their attitudes are terrible. The owner, Noelia will not style you unless your hair is “easy” to do; meaning naturally straight or short. She will sit there & watch your dryer go off, refuse to do you or wait for a worker to finish a task & do you. Her main worker, Joselyn (goes by the nickname Josie) does most of the work in there, although her attitude is the worst. On 3/31, day before Easter, I got the usual: a wash & set, blow dry & flat iron. I also got my ends trimmed since I wore braids the previous month. I asked to get my eyebrows done & I can’t even tell you the amount of times I’ve gotten my eyebrows done by this place. They do wax only. Josie did my brows & she would ALWAYS start with my left brow first, right brow & then do my unibrow. The moment she did my right brow, I remember the wax being hotter than usual. It was so hot that tears formed in BOTH eyes. When she was done, she applied cream to prevent itching, infection, etc. The next morning when I woke up, my skin had a dark bruise from the wax! This was Easter morning; how was I suppose to attend church with this bruise on my eye? I had to apply makeup over the burn & even that didn’t cover it fully. I went to the salonTuesday, Noelia told me that my skin is too sensitive and that it’s NO BIG DEAL. Her & Josie didn’t even want to acknowledge me. How is it sensitive to it if it’s the SAME wax as always & this isn’t the 1st, 2nd, or 50th time? I wanted a refund & they refused. They acted nonchalant towards the fact that my skin was burned & that a mark was left on it for 3 weeks. I will never step foot in this salon again, no matter how long I’ve been going here. Their attitudes changed for the worst after a few years.

Never had such horrible service. Had to leave salon with wet hair. Owner used a cheap comb brush to remove knots from hair and started from the middle rather than the bottom. Massive amounts of hair started falling out. Charged for conditioing anyway. Never again!
One of the worst salon experience I have had. I let the stylist know that I am natural and only straighten my hair a couple of times and she stated "I'm Dominican I can do natural hair", anyway I should have been a little wary but I had some false trust. She blow dried and straighten my hair with a flat iron. At times she would go over the same piece 3-4 times I had to tell her to stop. She uses cheap beauty supply products and shampoo. When she was done my ends looked deep fried. I put my hand through my hair only to get pieces of my ends.... She recommend "mommy you need a relaxer its much easier"….Ughhh….. Please don’t waste your money and most importantly risk the health of your hair. It’s been a couple of months now and my fro will not curl for nothing. I wish I never even step foot in this establishment.
she said she could do the style in a pic and instead it was another let down. it was something like the golden girls very bouffant and soo not me. she does use professional product and seems to care about the health of your hair.
