We contracted Taurus Movers to move our things into storage for us - for about 4 months. Corey was the team lead and seemed very nice. Once we were ready to move our things out of storage, we decided to take our time and not rush the process. We discovered the furniture was scratched, wheels were broken off roll carts, one of my storage shelves was completely destroyed - to the point it had to be thrown out, and the worst part was my fridge was horribly dented and scratched. We noticed this right away - as it is a massive eye sore. We took it home and took pictures in better light then sent pictures to the owner. We didn't receive any response for a few weeks - to which David had said our email was in his junk folder. We had asked him only for a $300 reimbursement for the dented SS panel. He seemed willing to help us and told us he would get to the bottom of what happened. A month goes by without hearing back - and then he finally responds denying any and all responsibility. Telling us that we had waited too long to tell them there was any issue (which we had no idea they dented it until it came out of storage) - and that we couldn't prove another mover didn't do it when we moved into our new house - but they were the only movers we used - and we know that WE didn't dent our own furniture - or break the shelves.. or scratch the wood. We aren't asking for anything but replacement of the panel. But how David responded was completely unprofessional - I can't even believe this is how he conducts his business when it's his team that ruins people's things - an owner of a company can shift blame onto the client? How irresponsible!

Mr. and Mrs. Cortese were moved by my company on July 30th, 2011. There are several untruths and inconsistencies in Mr. Cortese's ""story"". Unfortunately, I cannot post my full response here, as it is almost 8000 words and 8 pages long, but I can assure you that it contains the true and just facts of the incident. I have already been vindicated through the Better Business Bureau and will be vindicated through the Arizona State Attorney Gerneral's office shortly. I have an impeccable reputaion amongst my customers and am very hurt by these false accusations by Mr. Cortese who is just trying to hurt a hard working small business. I had this Company move my Family the end of July 2011. The owner at first was a great help to my family and allowed me to pay half in cash and the remainder by check, which was great. However that was the end of anything considered positive. He sent 3 guys that complained about the move and was certain as they walked in only 1 room of my home that it was to a 8hr job, when I was quoted half that. Long story short 9hrs later after they had milked the clock all they could. We began to beg the movers to finish getting our belongings off of the moving truck, as everything was just being unloaded into our garage the entire day except the large items such as sofas and TVs that they reluctantly place in the house. This was the second time that David Torres-Evans has moved my home. The first time, he was part of a crew of a different company but stood out even then as a dedicated worker and was impressive in his ability to be creative in maneuvering difficult pieces into difficult places. As owner, he shines as an honest, reliable and hard worker. His choice of crew is also very good and they worked so well as a team that they were able to finish the job much sooner than he had estimated.
