This depends on the painkiller. Ibuprofen's most frequent side effects tend to be gastrointestinal issues, such as mild heartburn, constipation and an upset stomach. It's also worth noting that it can raise blood pressure in certain cases as well. Nausea is probably the most common acetaminophen side effect but it is generally very well tolerated. Depending on the strength of said painkillers, you may not realize an injury that has occcured and could be life threatning. So we really should just all live in medical bubbles because we could die at any given moment. Don't listen when they tell you to live a little. Garbage it is.
