No stars!!!!!! Horibble people! It has taken 3 appts and now a 4th appt just to get our dishwasher issue fixed and it still isn't. First tech guy broke control panel, did not wear booties in our house and made a huge mess I had to mop up. He didn't even explain what paper I was signing and come to find out it's a liability form that if they damage something in your home the company won't take responsibility, not one of the 3 technicians even explained this clause they just say here sign this so I can start. So please do not sign their paperwork you have the right to refuse to sign that! 2nd tech guy came out put the part on WRONG and left without me even checking the work or anything he didn't even explain what he did or anything just bolted out the door. 3rd tech guy came and wouldn't even do the work because I refused to sign paperwork which is BS because the tech guy before him did the work with refusal. This company is absolutely sexist they totally took advantage of me, a female being the only one home to witness their horrible work. And they put you in a time slot and don't show up or call and let you know they're late or anything. They don't communicate whatsoever. I didnt get a phone call that they were on their way or anything. And here we are 4th tech guy to be scheduled to come out and problem not fixed! Will never buy from Sears again they do shady business with shady warranty companies!!!! Run away people and fast don't buy!!!!!
The repairman called ahead to ensure we were home, and showed up promptly at the scheduled time. He was very courteous the entire time he was in the house. He diagnosed the problem with our washer and repaired quickly. As he did this, he explained various maintenance items and procedures we had been overlooking. After the repair of the washer, he cleaned (for an extra charge) the freezer, refrigerator, stove and dryer. Again as he did this, he would explain what he was doing and why it was important. we were very pleased with the repairman, and the services he performed. We would recommend him and Sears for any appliance repair.
our problems we called in for repair was the following .(1)TV didn't shut off got warm and broke screen (2)TV wont shut off(3)and volume didn't work. waited a week for service and the repairman said cant fix it screen cracked, we said yea it got hot that's why. he said the repair man no coverage. this is bullshit I paid for protection I should get it its not my fault it didn't turn off and got warm cracked screen . no wonder why sear is going out off business .
The serviceman was on time, that was a plus. Only to find out that the part for our refrigerator is no longer available? The circuit board? Seriously? I guess it will eventually be a new refrigerator purchase, and I can guarantee that it won't be a Kenmore product. Seriously disappointed. I could understand if the refrigerator was years and years old, but, ours, is not that old.
Nice guy, on time ,repaired completely in less than an hour. He had the brain for my dishwasher with him and swapped it out, and also ordered a new Jet dry compartment plug to replace the original one that came loose and melted on the heating element. I will use them again, no question.
absolutely terrible! took over a month to get service out to fix my riding lawn mower. Technician insisted it was my brand new battery that was the issue despite me telling him I knew otherwise. Refused to consider any other issues. Performed an oil change only, Cost 300.00! The next day I bought yet another new battery. Motor overheated after 15 minutes. Next day I attempted it again. Same thing only it will no longer start at all. battery is now dead. Called customer service 4 times. Arguement every time I asked to speak with the manager. managers also very arguementative. Told me I'd have to wait another 3.5 weeks for them to come back out and there were no other options despite my disatisfaction. Asked to speak to someone above them and was told absolutely not. Told them I then wanted a refund and was refused. Unbelievable that they are still in business. Sears is terrible. Do not use them.
It took 4separate visits for our refrigerator to finally get repaired. The technician that came out for the final 2 visits was amazing. He took the extra few minutes to explain every aspect of the problem and the solution. Told us what to expect and how to make sure the parts ordered were delivered undamaged so we wouldn't have an additional wait time and if he had not done that our parts would have been no good because they were delivered upside down even though the box was clearly marked with arrows. I would use this repairman over and over. He made us feel confident with his knowledge and our fridge now works great.
I was so impressed with the professionalism, courtesy and technical skills from the initial set-up of the service all throughout the actual repair. My repairs required two visits, the first technician evaluated the problems, explained the work to be done, answered my questions and promptly completed the repairs. He ordered a part on the spot to be delivered to my home so the next technician would have it available. Every thing went like clockwork and my 25 yr old washer and dryer are running perfectly!
I will certainly recommend this service to anyone.
Repairman was very professional and spent a good amount of time servicing both my washer and dryer & was very good at explaining everything, however, less than a month has passed and my washer is leaking again (which is why I called for service in the first place) :-(
