Fishermen's Village

I love going to Fisherman's village just to walk around through out the shops and get a drink at one of the bars. I am not sure why people are posting reviews about a restaurant on this profile. This is the profile for Fisherman's village which is not a restaurant. So its a bit strange. They have events all year round. But don't forget to go at Christmas time, the whole place is covered in about 1 million lights! Its great and the go to place to just have fun.

Don't ever go here. For the prices you would expect more. The portions are really small and the taste, well you might as well eat at a fast food restaurant The employee's that work there are also very snoody and unfriendly. Like they are better than you(the customer) who pays their wages. The person who wrote the 4 star rating must have stock in this place. I've traveled alot and have eaten at alot of nice places and this place came recommended by some Floridians. Shame on them!!!! The best thing for this place is a total makeover, new menu with friendly pricing, better tatsing food, and just as important better customer service. By the way the 1 star I gave them was by accident.

first of all in a bad economy service should be great, we sat and didnt get a refill on sodas once oh and did i mention there was only 3 tables filled with 3 waitresses. second the prices where outrageous, $16.95 for 1 chicken cutlet and 4oz of penna and 16.95 for fet alfredo wow. service was not good at all.........anyway we wont be going back.................

Saw reviews on "The Morning Blend" stating that if you mention you saw the show you'd get a 10% discount. Decided to drive there from Venice for 1/2 hour drive to give it a shot. Great that with each two meals you get a bottle of wine, only to be told at check presentation, "oh, we can't combine a 10 % discount and the bottle of wine that, incidentally goes with each two entrees. We were 2 of three tables in the restaurant, in slow season, and it was insulting to feel mislead.! Waitress should have told us up front that owner would not give us a 10 % discount. Would not recommend or return. Very high priced. Food was okay, but Carrabas is much better and less expensive. Will not return due to their poor taste in judgement in not taking care of the few customers they had. Waitress even questioned the fact that we mentioned the ad. Like who is the owner, etc.? Morning Blend should be more careful in who they recommend to frequent. We saw no appreciation for the visit, owner was present, sitting around, but not once acknowleged our patronage or to inquire as to if we were happy. Will be sure to write to "The Morning Blend" as well. In this economy, we felt ripped off. They should have bent over backward for any patronage on a Sunday late afternoon, but did'nt seem to care. Had we been offered the deal we were enticed to, we would have felt okay, but the experience left us with a bad taste of business practice.
