Punta Gorda marine diagnosed the problem with my boat. One engine was cutting off after several minutes running at higher rpm's. PGM stated the vst pump in the outboard was bad. PGM suggested to have the fuel replaced, the tank cleaned and the vst pump replaced. I decided to have both engines done to avoid issues in the future. They paid an outside service to clean the tank, which I paid for, but they did not clean the tank, they only transferred the older gas. I learned this after contacting and speaking to them. PGM contacted me after the service was done and we water tested the boat. The engine cut off again like it was doing before. So there diagnosis was wrong. I was charged $200 more for each pump than what they cost. I was charged way more hours than what they actually spent working on the boat and the issue still exist. I brought the boat home and inspected the gas line from the tank to the motor. Upon removing the brass fitting at the top of the tank I found it was clogged with debris and not allowing sufficient fuel to get to the motor at higher rpm's. This is what was costing the engine to cut off. PGM stated I could bring the boat back and they would be happy to further investigate the issue, but at additional cost, whew. I am $5000 into this issue and the original problem still exist. the problem would have been easily fixed if PGM had had the tank emptied and flushed, which was the service I paid for, and the fuel lines would have been flushed from the tank all the way to the engines. This would have fixed the problem at around $500. I battled PGM for about 6 month's with my credit card company and PGM lied about everything. The owner and his wife lied, lied and lied some more. I caught PGM in lies even before the boat was finished, as they stated. Deal with this company if you like being lied to and charged frivolously. Do yourself a favor and use another company. Save the aggravation.

This is a scam. This kid has spent time in Jail for taking money for jobs and then disappearing. I have filed criminal charges against him for fraud.
Just used them a second time. Moved to a new house and the lift needed major adjustments and inventive thinking. Boat was a bit too big !They did a great job in a timely fashion and charged a fair price.
I wish I could leave positive feedback about this company but unfortunately I canât. We hired the owner of this company to work on our boat lift Feb 2013, after we paid him over $700 we discovered the work was only half completed. We called the owner every day leaving messages each time. Weeks have gone by and he has not returned even one phone call. He took our money and ranâ¦We have the State Consumer Affairs office now involved along with tthe Better Business Bureau. Beware of Boat Lift Maintenance Inc.
