Good food, service good, clean restaurant to include restrooms. Very satisfied.
La Tapatia is one of the best maxican places to eat while in El Paso. I would tell you that they are famouse for their tamales witch i heard from a really dependible source that the lady that has been making them for over 20 yrs is still making the most sesonal sold tamales in El Paso.. Now that…
oh my goodness! best place for everything from flautas to mexican style icecreams and fruit salads!!! i highly recommend this place and yes the best flautas i've had in a restaurant since good old ciro's...back in the day!
16. La Isla Mariscos
Would NOT recommend at all. Wait staff seemed confused when asked about certain entrees, manager rude when a problem with a dish was brought up, bad quality food. Only gave them one star because 0 stars was not an option.
Rainbow Fountain Tortas are great delicious and economical. I live and work close by and can't get enough. They have a a wide variety of menu selections, so if you're not in the mood for a torta have a shrimp cocktail instead. This location is always busy but is always worth the wait.
We love the food, the atmosphere is very friendly and the service is awesome
Service is very slow and we went in the evening when it was practically empty and we still couldn't get good service. They have a bunch of TVs so we asked to watch the Sunday night football and one waiter told us they couldn't get the remote to work and the other waiter put it on for us but the signal kept going out. We won't be going back
It was a rainy morning so we had an urge for menudo. Even though their food is overpriced we decided to have breakfast here. We waited over 15 min. for someone to acknowledge us & seat us. The place was packed yet I saw a couple of empty tables. The waitresses would pass us w/o even saying good morning, or we'll be right with you. The staff looked annoyed every time the door would open with more customers in sight. I decided at that time that service is more important than a craving. We had a good breakfast just 5 miles south at Jefitas Tamales.
They took excellent care of my big family, all orders were warm and delicious!! Waiter and waitresses were very kind. Chips and salsa just kept coming. They're chile rellellenos are delicious.
We love going on Mondays for taco night. They have great service and good food. The food is good everyday but our family enjoys the great tacos.
The Riviera is iconic. The food is the best Mexican food we have ever eaten (and we've eaten tons). Carmen, our server has been there for over 20 years and was so patient as we sifted through the huge menu. Based on her suggestions, we enjoyed a fruit plate, a machaca plate, and tamales con huevos at a late breakfast....
We went there during the Christmas season and was very pleased. All of our 4 meals were delicious and served quickly. The service was friendly and prompt. Living in the Houston area we really appreciated the low prices. We also went to the Riviera a few days later for breakfast and enjoyed very the Huevos Rancheros and the cheese omelet....
There are a lot of Mexica restaurants in El Paso but when you find one that has been in business as long as the Riviera you know they'll have good food. It's basic, simple and delicious. You won't go wrong with ordering anything on the menu, but I love the tamales (red or green)
The Riviera is a great place to watch football on Saturdays and Sundays. A lot of good people meet up to watch their favorite teams, have breakfast or lunch. The bartenders and Manager are very friendly. They have incredible tacos as their Monday special and they're always busy.
