I first called to see if they had an appointment time available on New Year's Eve. The woman on the other end of phone said "yes come on in". I arrived at 1030 there was two Hispanic woman stylists a 40 year old and a 60'ish year old. They both had clients the younger one came over to the counter to ask what I needed. I told her I had called in and told I could come in now. I also told her I wanted a dye and hair cut. She said they both had clients on the chair. She asked if I could come back in 30 or 45 minutes.I came back in 35 minutes and continued to wait for 20 minutes. After the long wait I was called back by the younger woman. We chatted about my hair. I briefed her about what chemicals I had used in my hair. I told her my scalp could not tolerate heavy chemicals and I usually used henna because that was so gentle. Prior to starting my henna use the store bought die made my hair fall out. I also told her that my hair did well with Aveda products I used to get my hair done at an Aveda Solon in the Springs.Once we got don't with the introduction of my hair she said " we charge $65 for dye plus $20 for extra mixes and $35 for a cut. I told her that was fine. The stylist went so far as to bring me a price list and told me. "It's a lot of money and I need you to initial this document acknowledging I told you". I'm a little disgusted but I kept a positive attitude. She put the dye in my hair and brings in another woman and sits her beside me. The stylist tells me you have a 45 minute wait until I can wash out your dye. Cont.The lady starts her hair introduction. My stylist takes her back and wets her head. They come back and starts brushing her out. She does'nt give her the pricing brief. No initialing the pricing document. She starts cutting her hair. Once she is done with the cut she starts blowing her hair out. The dryer stops working and she goes to borrow one from the old stylist. Meanwhile the lady client next to me says "Am I interrupting your process?"

I have been in tears since Thursday afternoon because of the butchering job done to my hair. I went in with very clear pictures of what I wanted and tried to talk to Lenore more than once during the process to make sure we were on the same page. She just seemed to get more and more frustrated with me. Once it became clear she had screwed up the style I just tried for some damage control. She even called over another stylist who I can guess didn't understand the style I wanted either since it just kept getting shorter and shorter and shorter. It is hideous. Not to mention the insults I had to endure while I was sitting at her mercy, comments about how I must have to stay out of the kitchen because I eat too much! Absolutely unprofessional and uncalled for. By this point I was trying hard not to cry and just wanted to get out of there. I smiled sweetly, said it was fine and that at least I could wear a wig over it, paid (using a gift certificate), and left. I have been having major anxiety attacks ever since. I am so upset. I have gone to this place before and never had a problem. My children have come here, my husband too. But now, I never want to set foot in there again. A quality salon's ultimate goal is to help people feel beautiful and empowered. This salon is not only subpar in that regard, they are damaging to the confidence of its clients to the point of being abusive.
I've been going to the Salon Company for over 6 years , I highly recommend it !! They are very professional !! They have everything you need from makeup to massage . Tanning, manicures, pedicures, hair . Etc. Give it a try I guarantee you will be very Happy !!
This is one of the best salons I've been to. They had awesome service and everyone there was super nice. I highly recommend going thereyiy won't be let down!
Over priced and bad service!! Barb takes her time with services because she charges by the hour. Customer service is non existent. Do NOT recommend!!
It is very hard to find people that are professional, kind and can listen to you and give you the right haircut. My son and I both go here and I am never disappointed. Wonderful salon!
Shelly is my hairstylist. I have gone to her twice now, and I plan on keeping her. She is a lot of fun and listens to me very well.

i have worked with these ladies for many years i recently retired after reading a few of the comments on here i would think that you would get all the facts before making statements ..and if a fight was started i can assure you that the manager was absent from the salon as she would not allow this to happen sounds like someone is pumping up themselves
I'd like to take the time to say thank you to Lin at Urban hair stylist she's been my hair stylist and manicurist for over 30 years, she continues to amaze me with her never ending knowledge in career field that she is so passionate about. Lin has done my mother, myself and my daughters hair numerous times always giving us the most current and update styles that fit each of our own personalities.
