Hi, I'm Steve @ Steve's Intermountain Service. We have been in Utah valley for 27 years and have been a AAA certified repair facility for the last 17 years. We were the only one in the entire valley for the last 15 years until they added two more late last summer; one in Provo and the other in Lehi. My technicians and I are ASE Certified and our techs have over 40 years combined experience between them. That number doubles with my experience. We are also a NAPA certified repair facility. We have a wall in our waiting room displaying our technicians certifications from the training we send them to every year in order to stay up with technology. We have the industries best nationwide warranty, 12,000 miles or 12 months, and we also have a program for you to get extended warranties for up to 36 months or 36,000 miles on most repairs. We do safety inspections and emission testing as well as all of the regularly scheduled maintenance services suggested by the manufacturer of your vehicle. We also do diagnostics and repairs on electrical systems including: batteries, starters, alternators, electrical wiring, lighting, fuel and ignition systems and computer systems. We can diagnose and repair everything on your vehicle including: Brakes, timing belts, axles, cooling systems, air conditioning systems, transmissions, engines, clutches, suspension, wheel bearings, tires and more. We have regular specials on all maintenance services including: oil changes, radiators and cooling systems, transmission service and repair, power steering systems, brake systems, transfer cases and differentials and anything else you may need. I would have to offer a simila...

I would have to offer a similar review to those that have been placed, though I think the others may be a little bit harsh. Steve is an absolutely GREAT guy. Incredibly personable, and was very quick in getting the job done; however, we were broken down and the car was taken directly there (because of AAA). After speaking with several other locations, it was a scenario where we would have to pay several hundred dollars to just get an estimate from elsewhere, so we went with Steve's to be safe, only to find out later that he charged more than even the dealer. He offer's mailed discounts to return; but, was not flexible during our initial visit (especially after considering how costly it ended up being). He's a wonderful guy, but I highly doubt we will ever return---I would go to the dealer first.

I recommend looking at the other reviews written by those rating this with five stars. They are giving five stars to the same companies. You might want to do a little more research before you use any of these companies.

You May want to reconsider

Recommend? Maybe... Steve is a great guy, super nice however after $1100 dollars, new parts that I DID NOT NEED, as the original parts were functioning perfectly, my vehicle still has the same problem and it will not be fixed properly after several attempts and returning it. If your vehicle has a VERY VERY COMMON, straight forward issue, Steves would be great. Oil changes, brakes, etc - go here, but if there is any other type of problem or *potential problem*, be sure to get a second opinion. I was asked by the service center, after they had changed out good parts and charged me for labor and parts...""who diagnosed the problem?""...that is a really good question, I thought that was the job of the service center, or better siad, YOUR JOB....that is why I brought my vehicle to you b/c you are a vehicle repair shop.... I will give this service center a good rating in the fact that they continued dialogue with me and gave what I feel was a good effort to fix the problem...ultimately though, they were unable to and attempted to charge me for further labor.

I would wholeheartedly suggest to anyone, with any age car, get the services that Steve and his mechanic staff advise you to do. I am absolutely sure that your fuel economy will increase, and the life of your vehicle will be extended.

We knew that this was the place to go. Your honesty and integrity defines how mechanics should be, and more mechanics like you should be around.
