Terrible service all around

I have had the worst possible experience with this company starting from 07/08/2007 the night of installation. The technician was supposed to show up at 8a and didn' t get to my house until 8p or 8:30p. The gentleman could not speak English and did not hook up the service correctly. He did not leave the house until 10:30p, he was then fired for the shotty job he did. The service goes out 5-10 times a week for hours at a time we actually have to disconnect the boxes and hook up a standard antenna to view television. Dish Network agreed to cancel the service without a cancellation fee, but Atlas will not work with us. They said they would cancel the service after Janell with Accounting spoke with the technician. Janell never called the technician she just read the notes that the technician entered after he changed out the box stating that at that time the TV was working.

The customer service is horrible they will not let you speak to a manager, they hang up on you. They give wrong information they are extremely rude and they do not work with you. I am still fighting to have these boxes taken out of my house. Technicians have been out to my house 7 times to fix the equipment and it is still not working. I have filed a complaint with the B B B.

DO NOT EVER SIGN UP WITH DISH NETWORK IF A YOUNG SALES PERSON COMES TO YOUR DOOR. THAT IS ATLAS ACTING AS THOUGH THEY ARE IN FACT DISH NETWORK. THEY WILL BUTCHER THE INSTALLATION AND THEY WILL MAKE YOU PAY $340 to CANCEL THE SERVICE. I REPEAT DO NOT SIGN UP WITH ATLAS COMMUNICATIONS.

Atlas Communication and Dish Network poor providers of service

Lowest possible rating.

They are a subcontractor for Dish Network.

I had them install dish network for me and they were unable to set it up properly I lose signal 8 to 10 times a day and get a very bad HD picture.

They have been out at least 5 times to work on it and have never gotten it to work properly.
Finally I called Dish Network and told them the problem and told them I wanted to cancell my service but I didn't want to pay an early termination fee. They said they would agree to that, but I had to contact Alas to see if they would go along with it.

I called Atlas and they said that they would not go along with it even though their Area Service manager said they couldn't fix the problem.

I called Dish Network back and they said they couldn't help me because they are a subcontractor (I don't believe this). They are sending out a technition to see if tey can fix it.

I have filed a complaint with the Better Buisness Bureau, Hopefully they can help.
