The actual owner of my apartment was very nice and helpful, but Legend Real Estate was a horrible intermediate between us. Service is very, very poor. I always reached a receptionist who never could connect me with the correct person to speak to. Whether these individuals were screening my calls or just never in the office, neither is acceptable as customer service. What tipped the scales of my frustration was when I was booted in my own parking stall. I went out of town at the beginning of the semester and called Legend Real Estate BEFOREHAND to make sure that I had everything in place so that I would not get booted. I was told that the passes/permits would be delivered by September 9th and that there would be no problem. September 9th came and went and no parking passes were dropped off to our door as promised. They had not kept their word and I had to leave town as I had informed them.When I came back, I found my car booted in my own parking spot. After strictly following all of their guidelines for appeals to get help/service, I was directed to speak to a specific individual at their office who never seemed to be around or (as mentioned above) must have been screening my calls. I just don't understand how someone can hold a position and never be in the office or capable of fielding a phone call. After a receptionist finally spoke to this individual for me, I was told that everything was my fault and (in kinder words, but in essence) that I was stupid for not understanding or agreeing with their point of view. I felt belittled and ridiculed. They went on to say that they would never give out a certain date that the passes would be handed out (September 9th as I was told) and that I HAD to be wrong. Even if that is their rule, HEAVEN FORBID that someone at their office maybe, just MAYBE could have made a mistake and given me a date (which they did). In fact, I know this to be the case because I called SPECIFICALLY about this ahead of time.All in all, I was never permitted to speak to the individual who was over this situation. I was treated as if I was idiot for having a different opinion with them. I took specific action ahead of time to help them give me good service and they still blew it by changing their story after the fact.I am an extremely disappointed tenant.
