Loida is fantastic! She is very professional and always manages to fix my hair after hair horror stories and tragic dye jobs from other salons. She takes the time to listen to what it is that you want and goes over what she will be doing to your hair before she does it so that you know what's going on. Thank you Loida!

My hair was down below my waist and i asked to keep the length and wanted waives...the lady cut more than half of what i had and therw were no waives at all, so dissapointed it took me 3 years to grow my hair that long :-(
The salon was clean and my nails look great!
Nina's Salon is one of the BEST...my ride in from another state to have her do my hair it's sooo well worth it!

I am highly annoyed with the RUDE behavior of the Angell St. Salon's Manager. Threading she doesn't know anyways, no managerial skills as well, just a pathetic lady with a Big Mouth & Attitude.

I used to go to this nail salon years ago and it was only worth going if one of the younger guys was here because everyone else was rude or did a halfassed job. I decided to try them again after 3 years and they are STILL horrible. Customer service is mediocre, they told me they do eyelashes and had me waiting for 20mins before they asked me to either come back or wait til 12:30 for someone else. When I asked why the original person couldn't do them, the response was "because she didn't want to do lashes today". As I said if you like paying more then you should for mediocre service go ahead. Otherwise go where they appreciate your business!!
If you love your hair don't go to this salon. I went there for a haircut and my hair is very curly. She put keratin to straight it without my permission. Charge me $110. When I got home I washed my hair and notice that the curls where gone. After a few wks my hair is still falling down in lumps. Called the place to speak with the manager and she acted like she didn't speak english.
My husband and I have had nothing but the best experiences at Flipp salon in Providence (with highlights and haircuts, in my case, but just haircuts for him).The first time I tried Flipp, I saw JoAnna. She did a remarkable job of refreshing my partial highlights, making them look natural, yet stunning. My hair color had so much more dimension after that appointment.The next time I visited Flipp, JoAnna was on vacation or booked, so I tried Shanna, who was new to the salon at the time. She was FANTASTIC! Her tremendous skill was clearly evident as she colored my hair in a way that looked natural, flawless, and exquisitely beautiful, while using a formula that helped preserve the health of my hair. Her placement of highlights was particularly well thought out.Most recently, my husband and I went to Flipp together. He normally doesn't like to get his hair cut professionally, but after my great experiences at Flipp, he decided to come with me for his birthday. This time, I saw Shanna again; he saw Joe. We both left extremely satisfied. I got the best haircut of my life from Shanna, and my husband was so impressed, he decided to start regularly getting his hair cut by Joe.We both feel that the stylists we see at Flipp do a fantastic job of listening to what we want, incorporating their professional understanding of our hair textures, etc., and translating that information perfectly, relying on their highly honed skills. They also take into account our lifestyles, which don't always allow us to visit a salon as often as we would like. Shanna gave me highlights that could grow out a little and still look nice, while Joe gave my husband a haircut that he could wear for upwards of 6 - 7 weeks. We love their flexibility and individualized approach to each client's wants and needs.
