PVPD is filled with sociopath power-trip bullies who have no accountability. They treat law-abiding citizens like common criminals and power-trip over their guns and handcuffs. They expect you to follow unlawful orders and arrest you for mentioning your rights. They extort the public and fabricate charges, making poorer citizens who have done absolutely nothing wrong at risk and fear to leave their homes over the harassment due only to the look of their vehicle. I have been pulled over and searched 8 times in a month, all with no warrant or probable cause. These officers have wasted hours of my time, and I have absolutely no criminal history. I have been forced to sit in a hot police car several times, while cops completed illegal searches, trashing my car EVERY TIME, breaking compartments and other features of my car. They even got under my hood and broke my hood latch, moving around parts. During most of the stops, the cops refused to give any reason. I have also been arrested recording a traffic stop/illegal search. Another time, an cop refused to tell me why I was being pulled over, and arrested me for refusing a search with no warrant. After my vehicle came up entirely clean, he made up a fake traffic offense in order to still collect revenue. I was also told by the same cop (Frost) that he would have done much worse to me had I not gotten out of my car for the illegal search, all while clutching his gun and making various physical threats. He is a public risk and I have heard accounts from so many others of his disgusting behavior. Comments are deleted off the Facebook page, and no one ever picks up the line whenever an attempt is made to report their behavior. Everyday, I encounter PVPD move on while nicer cars speed and tailgate, while these same cops do a complete Uturn to pull over older cars sitting at a stop light. I should not have to go out every day fearing harassment and harm by those who are supposed to uphold the law and serve the public.

Terrible Cops

The police in Prescott Valley are absolutely terrible. They are extremely arrogant and they think they have more power than they actually do. They have actually knocked on my door at 3 in the morning, just because my lights were on, and they thought I was hiding criminals they were looking for. They pull you over and give you a ticket for the smallest driving mistake, but do they catch all the people selling drugs, or the idiots drunk driving? No. The cops here are also ridiculously lazy. Whenever I see them, they're sitting in a parking lot talking on their cell phones. The cops here have a reputation for being wife beaters, and I've also heard that they work with the drug dealers. I would tell people not to live here just because of the atrocious police officers.

creepy cops in arizona

I have had a terrible experience with this department. I keep a blog about it where I let my emotions really come out. It creeps me out entirely to consider that they run around with guns and so much power, knowing what sort of things they have been party to over the last 7 years- I honestly am afraid of those dudes-
