Willow Ridge Apartments
1205 Sandretto Dr Apt D101, Prescott, AZ 86305
We lived here for over 2 years and let me just say, If we had the option to move sooner we would have. We will say the place is clean and maintained, but quiet it isn't. You can literally hear everything in these old units from airplanes flying over to your neighbors doing their dishes, you can hear everything....and I mean everything if you catch my drift. Did I mention that they charge over $900+ base rent for 800 sq ft with nothing, including no a/c... in Arizona even? Yeah. Units don't have central heat either, only 3 wall heaters in the entire unit. Place will nickle and dime you for things that newer apartments already have. A 2 bedroom apartment doesn't even come with 2 parking spaces. Has no modern amenities, the provided stove and fridge are easily from the mid-90s. Really, this place is off base for what they charge vs what you get. Granted the rent is below average for the area, but it isn't that much lower. With everything you'd need to live comfortably here in a 2bd apt you pay well over $1000 a month. Which puts it on par with much newer, nicer, more modern complexes in the area. The fact that this place hasn't been remodeled or upgraded since the 90s and doesn't have modern amenities such as a/c or modern heating rent estimation should be in the mid $700 range for this place for a 2 bd 2 bath according to estimates. Not $900+ i.e. you're getting overcharged by a lot. Place ONLY takes checks for rent, no cash or credit cards are accepted. Looking at the other reviews for this place, it is NOT walking distance to downtown either, its 7 miles from downtown Prescott there. The free wifi is a joke. You can't even check the weather on your phone with it when it's working. As of mid-2017, there are much better priced/modern units in the area than this place. We highly recommend considering other options for comfort and price unless it is your absolute last option like it was for us at the time.
Don't give them a holding deposit, they will steal your money!! I was lied to about apartment availability. I agreed to a shared apartment with a female roommate and when I arrived on the agreed upon move-in date, the manager Robert told me it was not available! He offered to show me a room with a male roommate that was "move-in ready" and the room was filthy/unliveable. When I decided that I did not want to live there due to living conditions and the fact that my agreed upon room wasn't actually available, Robert and Christine (the managers) refused to return my holding deposit!! Even though the room I paid to hold wasn't even available!! They stole my money and left me without a place to live in a very difficult city to find housing. Terrible company and not very nice people to do that to someone! Would not recommend to anyone.
We are actually very pleased with the Willow Ridge complex and how well it is run. It is well kept and inexpensive. Management is quite helpful and super-responsive if you have an issue or get locked out. Rather quiet neighborhood, yet close to supermarkets, banking and medical offices. My wife and I love it here.
I lived here for over a year and honestly really like it. This place is less expensive than nearby complexes that I also considered and location is quiet, yet close to downtown. Apartments are of decent size and are well maintained. I never had any problems with the neighbors or management.
