About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

Yavapai Contractors Association

I recently called this organization to request information about a reputable contractor in the area. The response I received was outrageous. This person made insulting remarks about my choice of mortgage companies and the fact that I have become very personal with the people that have bent over backwards to help me get pre-qualified. This person also inquired my position of choosing to use someone out of the area. Not that it is any of their business, however this is due to the fact I still live in the valley and due to the fact I am loyal to businesses, banks and others that practice good business ethics. Furthermore this person refused to help give me any information because I haven't purchased a lot yet. This is something we are in the process of looking for. We know a general area that we want to build. Also, this person refused to offer any type of assistance because I haven't "hired an architect" to design my home. First of all many builders have a variety of their own plans to make this easier for the buyer. Also, there are thousands of free designs all over the internet that can be used. We have several plans that we like. But again this person offered no help what so ever. This person talked over me when I asked questions. This person was in a hurry to cut my conversation short. I could tell this person had no interest in helping me at all. They were verbally aggressive from the very first time I spoke to them. They interrupted me unprofessionally as I was explaining my needs. As for the designs? I have a family member that is a professional designer. I just haven't narrowed it down yet. All I asked for was a reputable builder and they disrespectfully refused to help. According to my conversation with this person and the internet this is a nonprofit organization. My advise to anyone needing help is don't contact these people for help unless you enjoy being talked down to in a condescending and belittling manner. Do your own research.
