Dental Implants
Dr. David Ashley is an oral surgeon who is originally from Arkansas and moved to Alabama to pursue a career in Medicine. He attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he became a Doctor of Medicine and Medical Dentistry. He is a licensed physician in the state of Alabama and also holds certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS. He completed his oral and maxillofacial training includes pathology, TMJ disorders, cosmetic surgery, facial trauma surgery, reconstructive surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, and general anesthesia. Dr. Ashley also works in the emergency room to keep up to date with medical knowledge and experience. He has also served on medical mission trips to Venezuela, Panama, Honduras, Guyana, and Mexico.

Dental Examination
For others who are older or more comfortable, we will do a cleaning, take appropriate X-rays, do a thorough oral exam, and apply fluoride. The hygienist and one of our dentists will then review our findings and any treatment that is needed.

For your convenience, our Montgomery and Prattville offices offer select oral surgery procedures by Dr. David H. Ashley, M.D., D.M.D. for children and adolescents. Offering these procedures in our office allows us to provide a recognizable and comfortable location for your child to help alleviate any anxiety about the appointment.
Tooth Extractions
At our Montgomery and Prattville offices, Dr. Ashley regularly performs permanent and baby teeth extraction, including wisdom teeth extraction, as well as recovery of impacted teeth, and other oral surgery procedures.
Bone Grafting

Gingivectomy and Gingivoplasty
If gums become inflamed and overgrown, a gingivectomy may be needed to reshape the gums and display more teeth. This treatment is $250.
