I'm slowly filling up my house with furniture from Ashley, room by room! We purchased an amazing set of living room furniture that we love, both of my son's bedroom sets, and our dining chairs. Manager Johnny Martin has been great the past couple of years! He is always very friendly, and even though he is a manager, he still makes time to assist customers just as much as any of the salespeople, which shows his dedication to superior customer service. One time we had a $10 credit and he personally followed up daily to make sure it was credited to my account even though it was just $10. Christopher Holmes was our salesman for our last two purchases, and was very helpful. I'm extremely picky when it comes to finding just the right furniture, and no matter which competing stores I've checked, (Badcock, Rooms To Go, etc) in my opinion, Ashley always has better quality pieces and more attractive furniture. I highly recommend this company and specifically the Prattville store.

We bought a nice nes adjustable bed. Needed it delivered and installed. Everyone was super nice till we paid. Then the delivery time that was promised was changed to a week later after we paid. The bed that was in stock was not in stock suddenly. Then we were told the delivery people didn't work for Ashley and were a separate company and they changed the time again. So 2 weeks after it was promised we got it. I could live with that, but the bed quit working within a couple of weeks. I called the store and they said I had to call the bed manufacturer. The bed people said I had to call Ashley. The managers at Ashley avoided phone calls, would not return calls. I called their corporate office and was told they couldn't and wouldn't do anything, bc it was a franchise. They acted like they didn't care either. It literally took us threatening them with a lawsuit and to go there in person and throw a tantrum to get help. And it wasn't just that they would not help, they acted combative, and tried to get us to pay for shipping the bed back to the store.. The same bed that was broken right after we got it. The same ones who promised delivery and the ones who said they would help if anything went wrong. My advice is to never shop there. And don't send me one of those "we take customer service seriously" replies, bc you had many chances from the store level to the corporate level. It takes a lot to get me worked up, but quite simply it's the worst experience I have EVER had in buying anything and will never step foot in there again. What's a shame is they have some good stuff in there, and if they did what they promised it could be a wonderful store.
I ordered a dining room set 5 weeks ago. Still no furniture. I was advised new delivery date is now Sept. I ain't ever seen anything like this. The finance company executed my loan and I am now making payments on furniture I don't have. The store denies advising denies they had any contact with Tower. I called Tower and they said to take it up with Ashley, but they're expecting on time payments regardless, because the store has 3000 dollars of their money.Like Christina they promised me 6 weeks. I wouldn't have a problem with 20 weeks if they didn't tell the finance company I had the furniture, and making me pay for furniture I don't own, and have no idea when it come in. I have no faith it will arrive in Sept.My guess the company is broke and vendors have put them on cash only basis, thus they can't get quick delivery much of anything.Calls to the Ashley main office I was told take it up with the local store, it is independent owned.The store did advise I could cancel the order and absorb a 300 cancellation penalty and lose the money I've already paid Tower.The furniture I need is in the store on the floor but I was told it was" like gold" and can't be sold. I asked the mgr, "so you're saying to keep paying on stuff I don't have, and in the meantime I'm gonna keep your table and chairs here on my showroom floor to sell to someone other unsuspecting soul." I am pursuing other action, in the meantime stay away from this place. I was advised by a friend not to do business here. They have nice furniture, at a good price but have no common sense of how to do business. I'm contemplating returning to the store with the sheriff and ask for the furniture or all my money back.Update- 9-4-2015. I am still waiting on my table and bench. They now tell me Oct. sometime. Meanwhile I'm still making payments on furniture I don't have. Don't ever shop here. It has be 4 months and still counting. They have the money, as the loan company has sent them the check. I guess I'm gonna hafta to get a lawyer.
We had a great shopping experience with Brad who seemed very knowledgeable about the different product lines. Josh rang us up quickly and was very friendly and professional. We were in and out of the store with exactly what I wanted within a very short time. I would highly recommend Ashley after my pleasant experience.
Absolutely the worst place to buy furniture. It will take months and months to get your furniture. Don't believe the 6-8 weeks they promise you. Nothing about them holds up to the standards of good service. Go to American Oak.
This is the absolute worst retail store I have ever been unfortunate enough to shop in. I spent over $3000 with them. They have made three deliveries to my house now over the course of two months and half of my order is still wrong. I have been waiting all this time with no couch in my living room and I still don't have one. My sales person Chris told me I was buying a bed for a certain price then when it was delivered all I got were mattresses and the side rails to the bed. He and his manager Shannon said that I would have to pay more for the head board and foot board. They delivered the wrong couches today and on the last delivery date they delivered only the footboard to my bed. We have had to make arrangements to leave work and meet the delivery guys three times now. After spending all this money and wasting so much of my time they keep getting my order wrong. Both Chris and Shannon have told me they will call me back and then they didn't. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! They will take your money and then won't care what happens to you!
