County Seat Restaurant

I have been there twice now, and been pleased both times. Very nice, not a chain, pleasant people, good food, all home cooked deserts. You order your entree, which is served to you at the table. You go up to the salad bar to make your own salad. Once the entree is served, you go up to the vegetable buffet table and help yourself to the vegetables, cornbread, or rolls. Entree prices are from $8 - 20 for the evening meal. This includes the salad, entree, and vegetables. 2 things I was most impressed with - 1) the mashed potatoes are REAL, and very lumpy. 2) the cornbread was moist, sweet, and had occasional soft kernels of corn inside. They are also open for breakfast (which I believe is buffet style) and lunch, which is served off the menu. The first time I went, I had the fried oysters, and they were very good. The next time, I ordered the Tilapia with chunk crab meat on top, with a delicious sauce. I would order either again.
