I had Jenkins builder construct a new house in 2009. I was built reasonably well and to acceptable codes and standards required by Knox County. However I have had significant problems with the plumbing system. First were unexpected leak in the PEX piping installed during design. Of course these destroyed the gypsum board ceiling in the basement areas where the leaks occurred. After six random leaks caused by poor material and workmanship, I replaced all major piping with pvc and cpvc piping leaving the original installation in walls to connected services. This worked well until the shower for the master bath started leaking inside the wall cavity. This required access through a finished gypsum board wall to fix. Now the second bath shower has started leaking and I am in the process of having to fix that leak also. I am pretty happy with the rest of the house. But the plumbing installation was far from professional in performance and service.
Well the homes look nice but when you are trying to get a new home with some what bad credit they will pushing you back an foth saying you been approved but with a very large down payment ( mine was 25,000 ) for a 44,000 home they ran my credit so many times now I have very poor credit so now I can't do anything till my credit some how goes back up. We wanted a 5 bed room they said we was approved but a few days later I got a letter in mail saying we got denied so then they was trying to get use in a 4 bed room said same thing. I like the company but you can not tell someone they are approved when they was not so I don't like the way they are doing
