After calling around to numerous shops, seeing when the closest available time to get my car in would be. The man at butler automotive said that he could have it in his shop later that week. After dropping my car off and calling every single day after the day I was told it was to be in the shop. Never received a single call or message from the business, but the man claims he has plenty of times. After about two weeks goes by (calling every weekday) he finally tells me it's in the shop. After I realize and call back I ask him why it's just now getting in the shop and expressed why I was concerned. I was very nice and never rasied my voice or had an attitude and neither did he. But he was quick to take my car right back out of the shop and leave it right back where it was. Just another every day shop. Don't expect anything special, and definitely don't expect it to be quick process.
Great place to have any auto work done. I've been going here since I was in High School with my first car, I'm now a college graduate and I still call Kenny whenever I have any problems. The best part is that he is very knowledgeable and won't ever rip you off. Most recently, the repair work here has cost me half of the "Inspection Fee" quoted to me by my Auto Dealer before they even looked at my truck! My family has been using Kenny for at least 12 years, and I don't see us ever using anyone else. After spending thousands of dollars with mechanics and a dealership on my squeaky and locking brakes, James figured out that my truck was manufactured with the availability of two different brake systems and all of my previous mechanics mixed the parts. Interesting, I was the woman bitten by the dog today. I came on here to leave a bad review and see that the vendor who witnessed the altercation already did so on my behalf. The bite was minor, just a few scratches and a big bruise but that is not the reason I am writing this review. My issue was that the oil change and air filters took them almost 1.5 hours to do so as I was checking out, I politely told the owner that although I had been a customer for over 5 years, the wait and the dog bite cemented the fact I wouldn't return, the owner shrugged his shoulders and only said "sorry". I turned to the lady (assuming it was the owner's mother) behind the desk and calmly told her that if she has a known aggressive Pit Bull dog (when the dog ran to me as I walked in, he was sweet and she told me "he is sweet then he will turn on ya"), she yelled at me that it was ME that antagonized the dog and made the dog bite me. Due to a serious medical condition, a heated argument between the two of us sent me into a panic, my heart rate went over 200 BPM and my arms went numb as she kept yelling at me, I grasped my heart and told her I thought I was having a heart attack and to call 911. She looked me in the eye and said "I HOPE YOU HAVE A HEART ATTACK" and did not call 911. It took four hours later for my heart rate to get down but I want to share how soulless this person in this business is. I wouldn't spend another dime on this business and want to share this experience. Bad service and a bruise is one thing, seeing someone in a medical condition and wishing them harm is another level of EVIL. You reap what you sow and I trust karma will have this business shut down in no time.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DOWNRIGHT CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR!! I would have given them NO stars, but YP wouldn't let me. The woman at the front desk is not only rude, but blatantly hateful. And despite what their site says, DO NOT take any animals in there! Terry (the owner) has a pit bull that roams the lobby freely and BITES! The woman at the front gets angry and belligerent if you complain about the dog BITING YOU.
