What a huge customer service disappointment. I went in to Staples on Monday, 8/26, to purchase school supplies for my daughter and office supplies for my business. Many of the items were out on the floor, but we eventually found what we needed and proceeded to check out. Three-quarters of the way through a very large check out, the cash register froze and we were forced to move and wait for another register to be opened. Once we checked out, we put all bags that had been handed to us into the cart and loaded them into the car. Upon our arrival home, we discovered that seven of the thirty-eight items had not been included in our order, although they had been paid for. I politely contacted the store to see when we could come down and pick up the items that had not been loaded into our bags and was informed that the store would do nothing for us, even though we had provided a copy of the receipt for them. Several of the items were $1 special items, though two were $9 thumb drives on special. If we had been wanting to rip them off, we wouldn't be asking for $1 items. The manager basically told us that they would do absolutely nothing to make things right for us and we were out of luck. I will NEVER shop at this store again, even though I have been a customer there for many years and have spent thousands there on office supplies and equipment. I couldn't believe the way we were spoken to or treated. Horrible, horrible customer service!
