We are proud to offer dance and gymnastics classes for children and adults of all ages. We currently have students ages 2 to 82 - so, it is never too late, or too early, to learn a new skill or hobby.?The Attitude Arts Academy offers students the opportunity to develop self-confidence, improve health and wellness, increase regular exercise, and instill self-discipline, in a relaxed, fun-filled environment!

Class Offerings:Introduction to Music, Movement, and Art:This 45 minute long class offers an introduction to ballet, song, dance, arts and crafts, and tumbling for children eighteen months to age three. We ask that an adult accompany the child, and fully participate in class. Pre-Dance:This hour long, creative dance class is designed for three to six year olds, as their first introudction to dance! The basic fundamentals of ballet and tap are taught, with a focus on fine motor skill development.Beginner Ballet, Tap, & Jazz/Hop-Hop:This combination class is for students ages six to ten, and offers students their first experience with a ballet barre and proper dance technique. Students will begin to memorize ballet, tap, and jazz/hip-hop combinations, and will perform three dances at both the Christmas Open House and the End of Year Recital. Intermediate Ballet, Tap, & Jazz/Hip-Hop:This combination class is for students ages nine to fourteen, who have prior dance experience. Proper technique and terminology are the focus of this class. These students will perform three dances at the Christmas Open House, and between three to five dances at the End of Year Recital.Advanced Ballet, Tap, & Jazz/Hip-Hop/Modern:This combination class is for students ages twelve and up, with prior dance experience. Students must test into this class, or be promoted from within the studio. These students will perform three dances at the Christmas Open House, as well as, three to four group dances and one solo at the End of Year Recital. Students will be challenged to create and perform their own choreography, select their costumes, assist with lighting, and learn the ins and outs of putting together a performance for the End of Year Recital.Rhythmic Gymnastics:">This one hour class is an introduction to rhythmic gymnastics, and teaches proper technique for tumbling, ribbons, and balance beam. Students will be asked to perform a set of skills for each apparatus, and once completing all required skills, will move to Level 2.
