The best garage I have been to since I came to this country 40 years ago. The owner is a professional expert in his field. I would recommend this place to anyone, with any car make or model.
Called Paul and told him i noticed the head gasket is starting to leak on my Subaru you can see it leaking from the head gasket but hasn't started to overheat yet so he tells me it's not safe to drive and to bring it in tomorrow morning to do a leak down test on it.... bring it in the following morning as told by Paul and as soon as I get there he tells me he doesn't do them here and gave me the number of a guy he brings them to.... GIANT WASTE OF TIME!!! If it's unsafe to drive why did he tell me to come there just do give me a phone number to a guy you could of gave me the day before when I spoke to you.... horribly unproffesional and will never take anything to him or recommend him ever again
I BROUGHT in my 06 Range Rover to replace the rear bushings and they told me I needed to replace both left and right rear control arms. Charged me $1,200 n sent me on my way. A day later the noise was loud n clear like they did nothing. I brought it back in, they checked it and told me that they have to change the bushings again, three to four days later the noise was right back again, and they wanted me to bring it in again to change it again. I took my Range Rover to the dealer and they showed me that they were using aftermarket parts and not originals, and that's why I continued to have problems. Plus they showed me that they never replaced the control arms. They just greased the parts n that's it n charged me 1200. Since I left the dealer n came outta my pocket again for the bushings n labor. I haven't had a problem or heard a noise since... I recommend anyone who takes their car to the shop beware and make sure they show you the old parts that they took out, I wouldn't recommend anyone to take their business to this shop.. They'll never see my business ever again. Hope I save somebody the pain in their wallet n the Heartache... Lucky I dnt sue their TRIFLING ASSES!!!
We had problems with our AC and windows not working and were also losing power steering fluid in our Ford Taurus, so took it to Paul at RS Automotive on recommendations from a good friend. Paul fixed everything in a timely matter and did an excellent job! We would recommend him to anyone!Thanks, Shawn

The owner himself ripped me off. Worst experience I ever had with a mechanic and now I'm out 3000.00 and my car is a disaster. Watch for scratches, dents, and ruined parts. I told him what I wanted and he forced me to pay for all extra stuff that he never gave me an estimate on before he did it. Took me no time at all to realize what he did. He is no man of God. He uses that to sucker people.
On June 18, 5 days later, Kevin from their finance department called me at work to tell me that they couldn't account for all of our deposit and demanded a credit card over the phone. I told him no, but that I would stop by to help them resolve the matter and I was sitting in his office in less than an hour. It was me, Kevin, Andy (the general manager) and Thomas. We talked for all of about 5 minutes, with each of them, except for Thomas, accusing me of trying to get one over on them, saying that I was stealing and that I could recant my position at anytime without persecution or penalty. They were rude, obnoxious and arrogant. They told me that they could get the money from me if they had to, that they could call the police and that I should do the right thing. I told them that I remembered giving the money to Thomas, but they continued badgering me.It was the most uncomfortable car buying experience of my life. So, I promptly stood up and told them where to go. I said I was calling my layer and my wife and then I left.Later that day Bill Birmington called me, the Healey Brothers Chevrolet manager. At first he was nice, pleasant to talk to and very respectful. He explained that in is 25 years experience that he couldn't recall this ever happening. He said that he was sure that it was us misunderstanding and that we could resolve the matter pleasantly. I told him about my experiences earlier in the day and asked if we could return the car, because I didn't want to do business with them and he agreed. I also told him that I was waiting for my wife to get out of a meeting so that I could talk to her, because my recollection of the events was that we gave the money to Thomas Mead, but I wanted confirm this with her; my wife's pregnant, we had been in the hospital three days earlier for complications with her pregnancy, were running late for a doctors appointment that day and we had a broken water main at our house, so things were crazy that week to say the least.I called Bill back about 25 minutes later and told him that my wife confirmed that we hadn't given them $3500, I told him that she even remembers telling me that, but that I do not. I told him that I was waiting for her to get home from work and that we would talk about if she wanted to return the car or not.Bill called me back around 6pm, but this time, he was showing his true colors just like the rest of them. He was making all kinds of threats, demands, he was obnoxious and rude. I told him that my wife wasn't home from work yet, but that we would talk about returning the car later that evening. Bill then told me that he had recorded our phone conversation, that I had been caught in a lie and that he would be calling the police if he didn't have the money by the next day at noon. He asked me if I understood everything that he just said, and I said, "I understand you perfectly."Here's my closing thought - this was the second car we bought from Healey Brothers Chevrolet in Poughkeepsie and to be honest, the first purchase was as smooth as silk, but the second, not so much. Instead of being patient and waiting to get to the heart of the matter, we were immediately casted as thieves and liars within the first 45 seconds of my very first phone conversation with Kevin from financing after he demanded a credit card over the phone. We were being shunned and it was an awful feeling and I don't wish it upon anybody. There are so many car dealers on route 9 in and around the Poughkeepsie area. If you can avoid buying a car from Healey Brothers Chevrolet in Poughkeepsie, do it.I'm not accusing anyone that we dealt with as being a crook or a liar. What I am saying is that they lacked integrity, honor and patience in resolving this matter. We will never do business with them again.
I specifically dealt with the Special Finance Department, where Mike & Eric Fazio were fantastic, especially Mike. He bent over backwards and went above and beyond to get me & my family into a safe car that was within our budget; we drove it home the next day! I love Healey! I would tell anyone shopping for a vehicle to start at Healey, and you won't need to shop around!
