With all due respect, Rene is a liar and not very smart. I am regulated an adhere to the rules and laws mandated to me by the medical board and the Oregon health licensing agency, I change my gloves in accordance to their standards in order to prevent cross contamination. Anything I touch or handle during a procedure is sterilized with an FDA approved high level maticide, or is an autoclave sterilized and/or single use item and I change my gloves a lot to say the least. I know it may be easier to blame someone else rather than take accountability, but that is not right nor valid. I tattooed other people that very same day, and none got any sort of infection, or even remotely around this time. In fact, I personally even got tattooed by the shop owner that very same night and healed perfectly. If I am so unsanitary, wouldn't I get some sort of infection? Staph and MRSA are everywhere, as I explained to Rene a few times as I was explaining the healing method. People get infections by being dirty, and not following healing instructions, and that's why we have everyone sign a liability release. I am not responsible for your stupid decisions after you leave the shop. Anyone who believes these one sided reviews by unsanitary people, I don't want your business, everyone else can look at my portfolio and decide for yourself. Thank you for reading and considering common sense.https://www.facebook.com/emilykaytattoo
Dragon owns this salon and is the most amazing artist I have dealt with. Not only is the shop clean and neat with THOUSANDS of designs to choose from, he also will take the time to create the vision that you have in your head and puts it on paper. I also wanted to make sure that my design wouldn't be copied and he will guarantee that your design remains your own. I used to work with his mom and she raved about her son, as mom's do but I was curious. I made an appt with him and he listened to what I had to say, drew it out, called me to review and approve it! The other tat's that I have had done pale in comparison. He is going to do my back piece and I am going to have him repair my other tat's.He will be the only person who does the designs and tat's for myself and my family!!Thanks Dragon!!!
Forbidden studio is absolutely amazing! I've been working with Damon for several years and have two full sleeves, a back piece, and other tattoos. I get stopped daily and asked where I got my work done because it is so well executed and beautiful. The studio is clean, calm and very professional and the tattoo artists are very skilled and know what they are doing. They do have students there working on smaller pieces at a discounted price, but the teachers oversee the work to ensure you get a quality tattoo. I would absolutely recommend this studio for large or small pieces. If you have the opportunity to get tattooed by Damon, you will have an amazing piece of artwork to show off to all your friends.
Best tattoo shop in portland. I have been going for the past 5 years seen a few students and now I see Damon. From contemporary artwork to geometric and tribal to abstract and water color effects, these guys know their stuff. I would recommend anyone who wants an amazing experience with some of the best artist around this is the place to go. I have always enjoyed my experience at forbidden and it is the only shop I will go to. 5 star hands down! The entire staff is amazing and wonderful to talk with, friendly and open environment, If your thinking of getting ink for the first time or your a seasoned veteran to the arts this is the place to go!!
I absolutely love this place & is where I get my tattoos. I am not sure why the other person thinks these people have no experience but that's completely bogus. I know that the person who does my tattoos, along with other people who work there, has years of experience & has done probably thousands of tattoos. Plus, I have seen the artwork many of those people have created & it's always gorgeous. Not to mention the atmosphere is wonderful, as well. Very clean, open (don't feel all cramped & wedged in the corner) & chill staff. I love Forbidden Body Art!
These guys are so very entertaining when you go in. If you want a quality tattoo every artist here is amazing. I have been going to Will since I was 18 (now almost 24) and he has yet to disappoint. I've had a friend go to Bacon and he did wonderful. The other artist I have only seen them at work and their past works and it is beautifully done. Clean and sanitary place. My best friend has gotten piercings from here as well and the guy did a good clean job. Overall great place and great people.
I am a student at Forbidden and I can't begin to say enough nice things about how amazing this school is. I was welcomed with open arms by every instructor immediately and they have always been there to answer any question I had and how to apply it practically. I truly believe that Forbidden is the best at what they do and I would recommend this school highly to anyone who wants to take learning how to tattoo seriously.
School is grate, challenging and supportive. You work with students and multiple levels and different years of experience, from many years in another state to newbies like me. Yes the school also has a program to become an instructor, that takes a few years, you gotta learn to teach too ya know. I was never rushed, I was pushed into expecting more of myself.I suggest dropping in and saying hello before judging
The best place to get inked and know that you're helping create a generation of licensed artists. Yes, they are mostly students, but the supervision, cleanliness and the willingness to achieve are worth the price. I have four different tattoos from four different students in the past few years. I know where I'm going to get inked and help the community grow.
I learned how to be a professional tattoo artist from there .all the instructor they do their best to teach me . I 'm so glad I graduated from forbidden school. I highly recommend who wants to be a tattoo artist should go there or you want to have awesome tattoo forbidden is the place to go.Thank you Forbidden Body Art
