OET is a great place, Matt Whitehead is the owner and he knows his stuff. I have been working with him, learning the Egoscue Method, for the last 6 months. He has helped me recover from what was an ever worsening back condition. I'm not out of the woods yet but know I'm on the right path and that Matt is the one to continue leading me in the correct direction. Every Egoscue workout is tough, but tough in the way that feels so right. I know the exercises are restoring the balance I had lost. My body just couldn't do it anymore and I woke up leaning over to the side, off center by inches, about 9 months ago. I tried PT, which helped but didn't go far enough, in part because they were only allowed to work with the referred area, and I knew my whole body was involved. Matt, using the Egoscue Method, treats the whole body, it's the only way that makes sense to me. He watches how I move and then has me try various Egoscue Exercises as we determine which are best for my next 'menu'. I am amazed at how Egoscue exercises remind the body of how it is meant to move, they just feel right to me, and I'm standing much straighter these days. I highly recommend Matt and OET if your body is not performing as you know it should. Don't put it off, I did and I wish I'd started with Matt sooner.
