My son, who was 7 at the time, swam briefly with the Dolphins swim team at this facility.
The head coach of the Dolphins, Nacim Bouferrache, is not a person I want spending hours with my child each week. He seems to be controlling, Antisocial and Narcissistic. Nice but not snooty - fun for all.

At around a hundred bucks a month for pool and fitness, West Hills is a solid value for a family who wants to swim together and work out in a nice environment. Big barbecue grills are always ready to go on summer evenings -- a favorite spot for West Burbs folks to bring the family down for a swim and then grill up some goodies to enjoy on the picnic tables on the lawn next to the play structure. Work out facilities never crowded, always clean. Not too fancy, not too crowded -- WHRC is juuust right.
