        Rapid Bind manufactures a number of the bound and finished products found on bookshelves and in offices throughout the world. The company offers a variety of binding services, including mechanical binding, booklet binding, saddle stitching, folding, collating and index tabbing; finishing services, such as die cutting, media packaging and gluing; and value-added services, such as fulfillment, round cornering and shrink wrapping. These services enable Rapid Bind to produce booklets, manuals, catalogs and brochures as well as attach such items as gift cards, membership cards, magnets, booklets, postcards and product samples to pamphlets or brochures. Rapid Bind was founded in 1977 with only two employees. It now has 40 employees working in a 34,000-square-foot facility in Portland, Ore.
