Pacific Coat Painting came out to paint my house in December 2011. You might think this is an odd time of year to paint in Portland, however with the sunny and dry conditions we had the opportunity was right. Anytime I have a company provide a service for me I do my research homework. I was amazed (and a tiny bit skeptical) of all the positive reviews they had online. Not one bad thing was said! \n\nAfter inquiring on their website for an estimate, Kevin called me within two hours to set up an appointment to come out to take a look at my project. Kevin's professional demeanor and straight forward approach was very much appreciated and I knew by the time he left I was ready to hire Pacific Coat Painting.\n\nJosh (owner) made a visit to my house within the next day to have a look and introduce himself. Throughout the course of the project he kept me well informed, was courteous, and extremely helpful. His paint crew, Nick and (another) were a couple of very nice guys and when it came to details they helped me make a few decisions on trim. \n\nThe entire process was easy and the guys cleaned up after themselves each and every time they were here. I would recommend Pacific Coat to anyone who is looking to have their house painted. I will have them out in the Spring to paint the fence in my yard.\n\nThanks again guys!

A very good experience at a stressful time for us as we were in the throes of moving and needed to get the exterior of the house painted. The sales person called promptly and we got fit into the schedule at the height of the painting season for which we were extremely grateful.\nThe crew chief, Evan, was outstanding and the whole crew was very professional and patient. They went out of their way to accommodate changes without complaint or added cost.\n

We researched a number of companies before settling on Pacific Coat. We were impressed with Kevin Egan and his careful and concise appraisal of our job and we continued to be so pleased with the painters. Brandon was our lead person and he along with his fellow painters were so very professional, careful, patient, supportive and never disappointed us. They showed up every day polite and hard working through very hot weather. When the first coat was put on and we freaked out OMG what did we do? they calmed us and reassured us and now our home has been turned into a drab looking home into a snappy and lovely look. Use this team you won't regret it.. \nps I have a pet peeve on workers who blare their radios all day.. not this guys.. very respectful of our space.

I hired these guys to paint my Alameda home and could not be happier with the results!\n\nTheir entire team - from Kevin in sales to their crew - were an absolute breeze to work with; personable, professional and patient. \n\nI can not recommend them highly enough!

Our condo association chose Pacific Coat over others because of the willingness to help us develop a new style for our building. We were not disappointed. Josh and his crew showed up early and went home when they felt they had gotten done what they wanted to for the day. (which was usually later in the day!) They did not hesitate to do a few extra things (like changing out the house numbers and installing new mail boxes!). I really appreciated their professional, yet friendly approach to the job. THANK YOU! Penny Carter - Cedar Gardens Condominiums\n

My wife and I live in the Grant Park neighborhood, in a house built in 1927. We researched about 25 companies, then I met with a handul of them. Pacific Coat's owner, Josh Buchanan, stood out from the rest. He was genuine, down-to-earth, low-key, honest, and from our walk around the house it was also clear that he knew what he was talking about.\n\nThe crew leader, Evan, was great as well. Professional, prompt, hard-working, trustworthy. He, along with his crew of Jeromy and Nick, did an outstanding job -- both on the prep work and on the painting. They each brought a strong work ethic and an artist's eye for detail.\n\nIn short, we were very pleased with the whole experience, the house looks great, and we'll be recommending Pacific Coat to our family, friends, and neighbors.

We hired Pacific Coat paint to paint the exterior of our house as well as a stairway/hallway inside. I've got to say the entire experience with this company was awesome. Every single person we talked to was professional, knowledgable and very accomodating. Kevin, the estimator was extremely friendly and very helpful when we asked him questions. He gave us a quote right on the spot instead of making us wait like the other company I was bidding with. \n\nWhen it was time to start the job, Josh, the owner came by and introduced us to the crew. Our crew was Evan (the foreman), Jeremy and Nick. These guys worked extremely hard and were friendly and upbeat the entire time, even when working 11 and 12 hours a day. Evan helped us pick out an alternate color for our deck when the original color we picked didn't look right. The entire crew were very detail oriented and did an amazing job. \n\nI would highly recommend Pacific Coat Paint to anyone as they are the only company we will use for painting projects from now on. Thanks guys!

Pacific Coat painting recently finished painting the entire inside of my new home, including kitchen and bathroom cabinets. While their quote was neither the most expensive nor the cheapest, I felt very comfortable that they would do the job in a timely and professional manner. And that is exactly what they did. In many ways Josh and his team went beyond just merely painting my house. They also changed hardware, did repairs to walls, replaced broken light bulbs, fixed a smoke detector, carried away trash, and were always flexible with working with my schedule. \nIf you want your next painters to be a company you can trust and rely upon to do a great job, then I highly recommend you use Pacific Coat Painting.

Painting the exterior of our house was the last step in a very long remodel. Josh, Adam and Chris did an incredible job. They worked non-stop and sometimes until 7 at night. Our house had a lot of detail work and the job they did was incredible. They were considerate of our home and offered many suggestions which we took. After all, they are the professionals. The job turned out better than we had hoped! I would recommend them without hesitation for both interior and exterior work. Great job guys!

Bill and Lisa Snider\n565 Tico Road\nOjai, CA 93023\n\n\n\n\nSeptember 10, 2006\n\n\nMr. Josh Buchanan\nPacific Coat Painting\n11434 NE Fargo\nPortland, OR 97220\n\n\nDear Josh,\n\nThank you again for your fine work painting the exterior of the house at 1817 E. 37th in Vancouver, WA.\n\nWe bought the house a year ago, which is currently tenant-occupied. Knowing that the weather in the Pacific Northwest can beat-up the paint pretty good, we wanted to stay on top of it by giving the house a fresh coat this summer and ensuring all the joints were caulked. Not only did you do that for us, you also took the time to get rid of a patch of mildew on the roof for us.\n\nWhen our tenant noticed the color match on the floor of the front porch wasnt exactly what we had in mind, you went out of your way to re-do it at no charge to us right away without question. That really impressed us and showed us that not only do you do a great job, you are a pleasure to work with and have a strong customer-service ethic. \n\nAs landlords who live far away from the house, it was important to us to have a trustworthy licensed and bonded painter who could handle the job without us needing to be there. Thank you for stepping up to the challenge.\n\t\nSincerely,\n\n The Sniders\n\nBill and Lisa Snider\n\n\ncc:\tAngies List, Portland\n\tPortland City Search
