The owner of Hoopla is the biggest f****** p**** I have ever met! Spend your hard earned money somewhere else where you and your money will be way more appreciated! He accused me of searching packs when I was clearly looking at them and trying to decide which ones I wanted and he told me to get the f*** out and take my f****** business elsewhere. Also be aware because it looks like he does weigh Pokemon packs and will take the packs that contain ultra rare cards out of the booster box, prices them and puts them in his display case. Complete scumbag! Don't give him a penny towards his dive of a store!

Great selection of sports cards boxes

Great selection of sports cards boxes and packs. Reasonable pricing on the new stuff and a better selection than most shops that I've been in the area. Lots of odds & ends from the past two or three years for unopened boxes & most shops are only stocking stuff from the past 6 months or so.

Selection of gaming card stuff is extensive -- Lots of booster packs & boxes with tons of single Pokemon, Yugioh & Magic

If your buddy reached behind the counter, I'de think he was stealing too. The only people that belong behind a counter at ANY store are the people who work there. And it does sound like you tried to make a play for a collection that walked into the shop. Store owners pay the rent & should have first rite of refusal. Then and only then should you try to make an offer. I'de ask the owner if it was OK before even trying.

The owner is a jerk and he has a bad

The owner is a jerk and he has a bad rep from the yugioh community. He get over sensitive about stealing. One time one of my friends grab a pack over the shelf and he was going to buy it, the owner kick him out. For me a guy came in with a collection of cards. I talked to him about I can give him an offer on his cards and then the owner took it personally that I was stealing from him and kick me out. I was going to let him have first dibs on the cards and I wasn;t snaking on his deal. All I did was I can give him a offer and he quickly said get out.
