City Dental

I had a very negative experience with Dr. Bajuscak today. Beware! Two stars, instead of one, only because his recent staff have been courteous and helpful and I thought he was okay before this. Dr. Bajuscak, however, refused to treat me over a disagreement we had which I calmly attempted to work out with him. After having verbally agreed during our last appointment to give me a reduced price for today's appointment, he stated that he never said that despite my having shown him the notes I took about it, including the date. I put aside three precious business hours for the appointment today and arrived on time, as scheduled. Believe me, I tried everything to reason with him, including to compromise on the fee, but he was very rigid about the whole thing, finally admitting that he DOESN'T LIKE to do extractions (part of today's procedures), although he recommended them and agreed to do so. His solution was to fire me as a patient. This after I said I believed that he truly forgot what he said about the reduction in fee and that, okay, I would pay the full price. I wonder what other procedures this dentist may not feel like doing that are common to general dentistry. Very strange. Quite unnerving. I recommend that you find a different dentist.

I was in Portland for a business conference and had an urgent dental issues crop up. Dr Calcagno and her staff were terrific. Professional, courteous and caring. They were able to accommodate me within the hour and corrected my issue right away so I could get back to the meeting. Thanks again.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Calcagno's dental practice. I have been a patient for over ten years, and have consistently received professional and courteous service for all my dental needs. Visiting the dentist is not always "fun", but Dr. Calcagno and her staff make it as positive an experience as possible.

I have been going to City Dental for at over 27 years. I have always felt a warm welcome by the office staff and received prompt & conscientious service with emphasis on quality and comfort. I don't enjoy the dental experience (the sound, smell & taste get to me) but wouldn't think of going anywhere else. They are the best!

Jason Bajuscak is the new dentist. He seems great. Since he is younger than me, I told him he can't retire. He will be my dentist for life. The awesome staff remain.

I have been going to this dental office forever. Very efficient, welcoming and conscientious. I met the new dentist, as Dr. Calcagno has retired, and he seems to be carrying on the personal touch as well as careful service. I highly recommend them.
