50th Avenue Salon

OK, so I just started working at 50th ave. a few months ago.......I absolutely love going to "work". I owned a salon for many years and know what goes into the dynamics of making it successful. The people that I am working with are all very talented and creative individuals with personalities that compliment each other and work and play well together. I would not hesitate to trust any of my co-workers with my own hair or any of my most loved clients. The salon owner, Dawn, does a fabulous job at keeping our place clean and exciting with new products and gift items. Come check us out....you won't be disappointed!

I have been going to 50th Avenue Salon for 5 years. My stylist is Loretta, she is a good stylist, and provides me with up to date haircuts and colors. She also cuts my dad's and grandma's hair. I have also referred her to many family and friends. They have all gone and, they have come back for returning visits. She is a lot of fun and I enjoy our talks while sitting in her chair.

I got my hair cut and colored by Katie and she did a great job. She helped me figure out just what color what look best on me and then made it happen. I have a particular hair cut that I wanted and she really listened and did what I said. Her personality was friendly and upbeat the whole time.



I also got some waxing done by Judy. I like that she uses top of the line products and the result was that it was the least painful waxing experience ever. She explained everything to me and was very thorough. The waxing room is upstairs, away from the noise and activity of the rest of the salon. She had nice music playing and it was very comfortable.



I also like that this isn't a pretentious salon. Everyone is friendly and made me feel very welcome. It's a cute place and I'll definitely be back.
