If you are a driver, you might like this company. You will get tons of overtime and be treated with respect for the most part. If you work in the office, be prepared to be belittled and made to feel like a moron. They will throw you into whatever position they need help with, and won't give you any training. You'll have to mentally prepare yourself to show up to work every day. If the CEO is "hangry" (this will be 110% of the time) then you'll be the scape goat. The scheduler has her own set of personal problems and refuses to ever take responsibility for her mistakes. Don't call her out. She will scream at you. The male dispatcher sexually assaulted one of the drivers and was sent home for the remainder of the week (paid). The bosses will openly talk badly about each and every employee to whoever will listen. The CEO is the most deeply incompetent person I've ever met. She will say "someone needs to do something about this" about every issue that comes up (believe me, there are plenty!) while hiding in her office. The carpet in the office is old and disgusting. The office is infested with fruit flies. Every single person in the office has said they hate working there. They openly cuss and yell while people are on the phone with brokers or customers. It is absolutely a chaotic, toxic environment. If you are sexually harassed, screamed at, or mistreated, good luck to you. They will do nothing about it. There is no HR department. They don't fire anyone because they have a hard time finding anyone who wants to work there. You can basically do whatever you want. The ladies in the downstairs office are actually all really nice. The drivers, although some are grumpy and set in their ways, are all good people just trying to earn a paycheck.
The owner / operator is the cause of 98% of their problems, the other 2% is condoned by her. The only people who stick around in that office talk behind your back, and are gossiping, 2 faced suck ups who don't mind being mistreated, abused, assaulted or harassed (yes even sexually) on a daily basis. You will be lied to and promised things and be made to feel like you are part of the "family " BUT REMEMBER THIS IS A DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY -- you will regret and be embarrassed by this place. You will begin to feel crazy from al the crazies you will have to work with ( specifically the CEO !!!! , ops manager, crazy cat lady who schedules and the FTL dispatch who will sexually harass you). The drivers are mistreated as well. They are underpaid and over worked and treated poorly on daily. No respect from management. And are considered to be "a dime a dozen ". Please hear my words - there are too many opportunities for drivers at other local companies - this place will steal your time, soul and dedication. The moral and integrity of MCracken is non existent. This company is a sinking ship -- do not apply here !!
Tri Met Lift has gone down 1000% in service. They say that you are not there at most of your addresses and deem you and no show. This past Month of October has been the worst month I have ever had on lift in 8 years. They act like you are never there yet they know nothing about any of the addresses you go to. Questions about where to wait they depend on an outdated screen from 2006 to guide them and most of the time they tell you "I do not know what to tell you about where to wait to get the bus."The drivers tell you to wait one place yet the dispatch and customer service tell you to wait other places. Today there were 3 tri met lift signs at the Beaverton Transit Center and said LIFT in big bold letters and I was told I was waiting in an area that was illegal for lift to go to and it was the wrong area. A bus driver sitting on a bench said that Lift is not allowed to ever come where they had it marked and when I was asking them on my cell what to do he yelled and screamed at me and said he was going to call the police on me and tell. I kept asking them over and over "Where do I wait here to get the bus?"All I got was "You are there and we are here". They said that I was the customer and that I should of known this months ago and I had never been there before. There were three lift signs there. This was the Lift Stop. At the Grotto I told customer service to put a note in the computer that I was going to be at the bookstore and they failed to put it in and said it was too much trouble. I am tired of them saying that I am not at all these addresses when I am. Come to find out they went to Gate 4 and not to Gate 2 where I was at the Grotto. A cab driver told me to have customer service put a note on one of my addresses that it was at the corner of 8th and Lincoln street in Hillsboro Oregon that it would help them find me and customer service would not do it. This month so far there have been 4 incidents where they have deemed me a customer as no show when I was there. Just like today I asked them "Where as a customer do I need to wait to have a bus pick me up". They kept saying over and over and over "You are there and we are not and that we are never going to be there and we just do not know and never will know". They kept telling me that the screen told them what to tell me and that they were waiting on the screen to tell me what to do. They have never been to any of these addresses in the Portland Metro area and depend on a screen to tell us what to do and the material is from 2006 and outdated and they tell me they know nothing and tell me I am stupid because I am disabled. I am angry and at the point I want to leave Portland for ever. Just because of my horrible car wreck in 2006 Lift thinks it is my falt and keeps no showing me on all these addresses. Yet the drivers do not know, dispatch does not now and Brodway Cab does not know where a customer needs to wait for a bus or cab unless it is on a outdated screen. And to top that off no one gives a damn at all if you get home or not. If you are not there after 30 seconds you are a no show yet they have no information for you where to wait. They do this too much to me and to their customers. I hope you rot in hell Tri Met lift for causing me horrible undue stress and treating me like it is my falt my knees are out. I hate your guts and will for ever and ever and ever. It is now 2017. There have been two Major problems with Lift Service. I tried to go and have my walker fixed today and kept calling every half hour to see where my bus was and all three times was told the bus was in the tunnel still on 26. I was told there was snow and ice on the ground. I waited 2 and a half hours and my bus was still not there on 2/08/207 when it is their rules why I have to have my walker fixed and repaired in the first place. Today my bus never showed up at all. I waited 2 and a half hours and kept being told the bus was in the same place as before when I last called. Lift sucks!!!!!
This taxi company was contracted to take my son to school every morning. They were almost always late. On multiple occasions (in the 1 month period we used their service) I was forced to take my son into school myself because the taxi never came. One day a car with no logo that looked like it came out of a police action having seen better days tried to pick my kid up. Really SAFE? You're going to send an unmarked car with a stranger driver to pick up my 8 year old kid without giving any notice? Today the came and rang my doorbell 2hrs early. It was a late start day and I wasn't expecting them until 9:25am. I thought I must have the day wrong if they were here already and I sent my son to school. Well, it WAS a late start day. They dropped my kid off at a school that wasn't even opened yet. My 8 year old son. They left him at a school 2 hours before it opened! Do not trust SAFE. They are anything but.
The absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They hung up on the phone with me twice! When I asked them where they are located the lady on the phone by didnt even know, made me think the company was a scam! Plus they open up your packages when they are not suppose to. Don't bother they are not a real company and have no clue how to run a business.
Material presented was dated, and did not apply to our business! An expensive lesson and poor experience. Cannot recommend.
