I understand this is a business, they have routes they have to organize and they need to make money. But seriously. It took 6+ weeks after they took possession of my item from the seller to get it delivered. The delay is b/c they have very rigid rules and don't bend them even the smallest amount to accommodate their customers. I live in the country (about 20 min North of a medium sized city) and I work 50 minutes from home. They only deliver to my rural area on 2 specific days of the week: always a Tuesday and Thursday of every single week. I asked: Can I request the 1st delivery or last delivery of the day because I can't take an entire day off work for a delivery: NO. Can I pay extra to get a delivery on a different day of the week: NO. Do you deliver on weekends: NO. Can I come to your warehouse to pick up my item: NO. If I give permission for you to leave it under the porch with nobody home, can you just do that: NO. What do other working people who live in rural areas do: they just make it work (yeah, thanks for that nugget). So weeks into this thing I finally find a day that will work with my spouse's ever changing schedule. The rep said they would call 20-30 min before delivery (their standard practice) and this warning would give my spouse the time to get home. Well, the only call we received was from dispatch when the delivery team was already at my house and SURPRISE...nobody was home to accept delivery. They said the team would wait 15 min then leave. By the time my spouse was able to get there, they were already gone. I called customer service, they offered no apology and said they couldn't reschedule the delivery yet. It was suggested that I call back tomorrow to reschedule. FINALLY, my spouse was assigned to a couple night shifts so was able to be home during the day. If I ever order anything that requires freight shipping again, I will not be buying it if this is the delivery service being used. Terrible experience, terrible customer service.
